    There were two clips that should've been in this compilation. One with that woman who answered three questions in a row to win the lot, and the speed round with that Mark guy that ended in a tie followed by a missed response from Jim's question. They were very suspenseful.

      the mark you’re referring to is host and voice actor Mark DeCarlo. he still remembers that moment well. I still remember tweeting that episode to him once and he was shocked and remembered it all. I told him should they bring the show back, he’d be a great fit to host. he laughed and agreed, that would be full circle.

    Technically
    a) Once Roger answered the first question in Kathy's game, Kathy already won.
    b) If Kathy would have been dumb enough to go for the lot, it would be wrong for Jim to throw the last question. That $5 could've been the difference between winning the lot and not on the next show.

    Maybe it's just me, but I'm sure that on the daytime version, contestants were discouraged from going for the Lot by the producers putting the Cash Jackpot in between the Car and everything. This is why the syndicated (and Australian) version was better for Lot-seeking contestants by simply putting the Cash Jackpot as part of the Lot (as opposed to having its own level).

    • @PGTransformed
      @PGTransformed 5 лет назад +3

      I think the shopping format on the Syndicated was more in the tradition of the Winners Board in which on your final game, you risk all of your end game bonus in order to add the Cash Jackpot.

She hit the $15 Money Card, then answered the last 3 questions to finish the game at $120, giving her $604 in her bank, and you needed $600 for everything including the Cash Jackpot.
