I have a fair amount of tattoos and am an enthusiast, but that's a big "no" from me on eyeball tattoos! I DO kind of like the lighter colored ones like Grace Neutral has - her violet color is very cool, but I couldn't risk it.
I do like hers! I think the lighter colors are more subtle and bit less scary than full black
@@peachezandbillie Yeah, the full black is really creepy (and I *try not to judge) - and I think would be very isolating having them as *most people would be freaked out by a person with black eyes.
Im extremely tattooed and pierced. Maybe im just old but this comes off as too much risk for too little reward. Your vision cant be fixed easily if something goes massively wrong. You could be blinded. I mean if a typical tat goes wrong, its not gonna blind you. Even something hardcore like bifurcating your tongue wont cause you to lose your most important sense if something goes wrong.
what a super interesting topic!! as hardcore as eyeball tattoos look, i do think there need to a patented procedure so it’s no longer considered a “high risk body modification” hearing that it could potentially feel like glass shards in your eye is already a risk alone, especially if it’s supposed to be a painless procedure
Had no idea the procedure became patented that’s interesting news
@@peachezandbillie oh no, I don't think it has. I said I _think there needs to be_ a patented procedure developed so that way the percentage of something going wrong can go way down. Sorry for the confusion!
I have severe lattice degeneration of the retina and have had laser procedures to prevent retina detachment. The amount of anxiety just simply worrying about complications... just please, yall. Dont play with the eyeballs lol aaaah i cant even
When a 5-year-old can see the horrible side-effects and her mom still undergoes the procedure...even after said mom knew about what had happened to Amber Luke...
I disagree. They don’t look cool in the slightest. Like you really just need to get stared at if you get that shit done.
I’m a tattoo/body modification enthusiast but I don’t like eyeball tattoos. Not only is it an incredibly stupid thing to do, I also don’t like how it looks. Why would you want to have dead doll eyes?
Sight is a gift most of us take for granted
I, like many, found out about you through your short form videos. It's cool to see this longer format
thank you! I plan on making much more on a variety of subjects
same and i was just like "i hope theres longer vids on this"
@@peachezandbillie I look forward to watching them ❤️
An interesting topic for sure. Great video🤘
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching
7:47 Does anyone else have the experience of losing their eye and wishing they hadn't done this procedure-only to remember they've only just heard of it from Billie in this video? It's like vicarious regret. Great video! Seriously. Very interesting stories, very informative and engaging.
Fantastic video! So interesting and very well researched ❤
Eyeball tattoos are win-win procedures for bodymod enthusiasts. Done well, you get your eyes tattooed. And if it is botched, you have your eye(s) removed, and that is a more advanced body modification 🎉.
Thank you for making this video. It is very informative. I didn't knowhow this procedure was done nor how damaging it can be when gone wrong. I've been interested in body modification since a very young age and find the various mods you can do fascinating.
You made wanna get my palms done 😂!!
Such a good video!!!! Interesting, informative, funny and you're gorgeous as always. More please!!!!!
Great video!!!!
what an amazing summary of eyeball tattoos...entertaining and interesting
Some people really want the Darwin Award way too badly.
I love body modifications and tattoos a lot but...... play stupid games, win stupid prices.
Always informative Peaches! Yikes, I couldn’t take the risk…but as you mentioned in the chat earlier, the lighter colors DO look cool. I just do t need to be THAT different from everyone (although I like being unique). 😊
Cool video
As someone who had to get eye surgery, it’s insane to me that people will take such a risk on their eyes.
A topic that needs to be discussed
Definitely 🫡
I believe that in this case, specialized contacts could achieve the desired look in a way that would be so much more consistent and saturated. Like I legit don't think that a tattoo makes any sense. I've seen plenty of them, but do they ever look well colored? Do they look well done? No, not really.
I really feel like this is an issue of wrong tool for the job, tattoos can be art, they can be eyebrows, they can fill in thinned hair, but contacts exist and make the route of tattooing kind of misguided.
idk, it's not like magnetic earrings or fake sleeves, it's just.... not really a logical route considering the alternative i guess.
I love you and I love your videos and I love tattoos
Thank you!!
Such a great guy. His death is still such a tragedy.
I passed out while watcing lmao this is terrifying
Verry good and detailed video, please do the same with tongue split !
I want eyeball tattoos so bad, but unfortunately, they're not worth going blind
Nice film shoot location
Ohh i loved that video. This has been super cool to learn. I also love your tattoos. Exceptionally well done
Just pay for contacts less likely to damage you eyeballs
I guarantee that if there’d be a mandatory mental health evaluation before doing this procedure then 99% wouldn’t pass
Like 4-5 yrs ago i started at a new tattoo shop down in south florida. Hadn't met the one owner yet, but came in early my second week. Second owner is in, we chat and greet eachother, and then randomly, dude says 'hey uhhh can you help me real fast?'. We go into the second room and a dudes laying on a massage table. New other boss asks me to hold clients eyelids open. He proceeds to inject ink into the sclera or whatever. The ink bubbles in the eye before settling its kinda wild. That was a fun moment.
7:45 that grey tank top shirt.
My Goodness. 😵
I do plan on getting my eyes tattooed. But only after I've finished all my other modifications, spent at least 2 years wearing full eye contacts (so make sure I'm confident with that level of change), and found the safest artist possible to perform it.
I'm looking at 7-10 years before I start that process. Hopefully by then the procedure has become better understood and safe for anyone participating.
Consider reconsidering.
Why not use sclera contacts lenses
How come dudes in prison do eye tattoos with ink from ink pens and get it right but these professionals have so many problems?
Hey! This is the first video of yours I’ve seen. I like the content, but a lot of the editing, jumps between scenes, outfit changes is incredibly distracting. It feels like it’s meant to highlight the continuity of the audio (which is impressive don’t get me wrong), rather than enhance the delivery of the message.
There’s a reason why eyeballs gross me out… When I was 7, I saw cataract surgery on a show called That’s Incredible and nearly power puked all over the living room. I’m seriously dating myself by telling you that story because that show hasn’t been on the air in a long time… Anyway, I was quite old when I got my first tattoo. I was having difficulty figuring out what was me, something I would never regret in years to come. For my 46th birthday, my husband got me a gift certificate because I’d found what I wanted. Use it or lose it, so someone was getting tattooed. I was terrified it was going to hurt, but as everyone told me, if I could handle my ovary rupturing, I could handle a tattoo (internal bleeding hurts MUCH worse). It was a watercolor tattoo and didn’t hurt at all, really. Two years later, for my birthday, I got another tattoo (that I need to get redone because the person doing it didn’t do what I’d asked and did what she wanted). I’d love to get more, but instead I have to spend the money to get the bad one fixed. They’re definitely addictive once you get one. But no matter how addictive they are, you couldn’t pay me big to have someone put a needle to my eyeball for ANY reason. I’m screwed if I get cataracts because they do that while you’re awake. God hello anyone that comes after my eyeball with ANYTHING when I’m awake. Nope… Hit me on the head with a mallet, I don’t care. NO ONE touches my eyeballs, not even me… That’s why I’ve always worn glasses and never went for contacts.
It's incredibly ignorant to put ink into your eyes and experiment.
It has no advantages. It’s fully a disadvantaged thing. It’s a bad decision. What you said is right, there’s nothing good that can come of it, any effect that could get could be obtained with colored contacts, and the effect is just to make you look creepy, messed up or evil, let’s be honest here.
I'm your biggest fan in Nigeria.
Hello!
I'm your biggest fan in Africa
Hello ☺️
Fucc that, I go nutts if an eye lash is stuck under my eye lid!😅😅
Body Mods have never been about what is safe. Its about answering a call inside imo. That being said, there is no inner call that could make me do this.
I love tattoos and I really like the look of black tattoo shading on the eyes, but... I'm an artist and I would never get a tattoo on my eyes. I simply cannot afford the slightest chance of losing my vision. No matter how they convince me that it can be safe if the rules are followed - no. No, no and no, never in my life 💀
Damn
I wonder if it impacts vision?
It can, varies by recipient. The lucky ones have no change, the unlucky lose all vision if not their whole eye.
I'm curious if the older you are the more risk for your aging eyeballs
WHY¿¿¿¿???? "Contacts"
As cool as I would find black sclerae. I find being able to still use my eyes a lot cooler. Guess I'd rather stick to colored contacts if anything. There is no shame in taking reversible options imho. There are plenty of good reasons not to do it.
Some would say it erodes "the culture". I'd say a culture, or at least the specific sub set, that basically demands people to cripple themselves needs more than a proper erosion.
um... nope.
We live only.once (or even if not) I would like to have my eyes tattoed but not ready to accept responsibility that goes with it
Thank you for your true opinion.....i dont like tattoo in the eye 😊....it is not Looking good😮
This is horrifying. Why would you want to tattoo your eyeballs? You can achieve the same look with contact lenses. People need to realize that what makes you unique is your personality and mindset. Your appearance is just a shell. No Gucci, jewelry, extravagant clothing, tattoos, or else will make you any more interesting unless you truly have a lot of stories to tell from the amazing life you've lived 😮
there is a thing called sclera lenses and people should truly do that instead.
Yup! Does basically the same thing and you can always change colors too
@@peachezandbillie people are too hard core🙈🙈🙈
Some people can’t wear lenses because of dry eyes and also you should take away sclera lenses every 4 hours
@@Polina_Merletto well Thats another thing 👻 but no «exuse»🙈💚
I wish she'd mentioned Shannon Laratt, the founder of BME. He was a trailblazer in the body modification community
Shannon was the person who photoshopped his eyes to look like a Fremen and was one of the first three people to get their eyes tattooed! It’s a well-documented history, because Shannon was such an active blogger.
😅
Get red eyes like demon slayer❤
Maybe one day 😏
Tattoos are ridiculous. Anyone with a tattoo suffers from low self-esteem.
I know it's a tattoo video but where are the pretty kitties?! Lol ❤ we want a whole video on the day in the life of your cats
The kitties were shy about this one hehe I’ll make sure to do one focused on them soon
PLEASE DO!!❤❤😊@@peachezandbillie
Nah that guy didn’t invent eye tattoos. Couple guys in prison did.
Billie, I know you love tattoos but, please do not doing only your eye balls🙏 so much
risky depend on who artist do this eye ball tattoo tough.
Thank you! I don’t think I will ever get one haha too scared 😅
I wanted to watch this so bad but I’m at 3:48 and my stomach is already doing somersaults. I have a strong stomach but it’s the eye thing for me. I’ll try to buck up and come back to this lol. Definitely an interesting topic.
Sounds like a reasonable risk vs rewards type situation.
I'm sorry but that girl's trauma excuse is BS!🤦 I genuinely feel bad for her & all, but No1 Deal's with Trauma with the same trauma?🤷But People who have been graped don't deal with the Trauma by purposely getting graped again? Makes no sense? Just say you f*cked Up? Simple ain't no shame? We ALL do, but outrageous excuses don't help her cause? Just me tho
To anyone who has them, thanks. I appreciate you marking yourselves so clearly so I can identify who to avoid. And for those of you with regular tattoos, congratulations on being “mainstream” as the host said
15:13 what?!?!?!
Yes what is right. What was removed 😕
Creepy as hell.
You did an excellent job with this presentation. It was very informative. I agree, adults should be allowed to do with their bodies as they wish. We do have personal freedoms. I, however think that tattoos are ugly. All of them. We were born a particular way and we shouldn’t permanently mess with it. But that is me. I don’t impose any judgment and never will. What does concern me is the spiritual side of tats and body mods. Yes, that part is very real and very dangerous. You do open yourself up to demons and their influence and control. Absolutely, demons and the devil are quite real and I have experiences with this. Just be aware of this. And again, you did an excellent presentation and your warnings are crystal clear. Thank you.
The changing background with each sentence is unnecessary & off putting.
basically if you really want it, you really need to go to Luna cobra
Yeah if you want Botched Eyeballs 🤡
I actually remember learning that a Nazi scientist used to try to change eye colors to blue during WW2.
I think everyone considering this procedure, should first book a session with an Opthalmologist, and share the content of his medical books containing everything that can go wrong with your eyes, in graphic detail, and how incredibly foolish it is to allow some ignorant tattoo artist who likely dropped out of school, to essentially mutilate your eyes and gamble with your vision, as they experiment on you with zero training. I don't care if they've done it 1000 successfully...which they never would...you still have the chance of being that one person who has complications and goes blind.
Your body mods and tattoos won't mean much to you once you're blind, and can't even see them.
Sorry, I had to pause the video at 2:00 mark to say imagine waking up to that dude in your home. Having someone break into your home is scary enough, but fk he looks evil and I'm a heavily tatted woman myself.
Ive heard of Alexandra's story, its so sad. The guy that did that to her is an asshole.
I do like Ambers and Grace Neutral's eyes, although I'll just admire them through my non inked eyeballs.
Great video Billie, you're so beautiful ❤ if you're ever in the UK, please, please feel free to hit me up lol 😉😂
Eyeball tattoos are a great way to say I initiated things with my uncle when I was 8.
I did that 2 weeks ago. Congratulate me ❤
Tattoos disfigured your body! They don't enhance your attractiveness; they deter from it - especially on women. These fads disfigure you for life, and vastly reduce your ability to get a decent job or mate. If you feel you need to modify your body, then you have low self-esteem, and afterwards, the disconcerting looks from others further lower your self-esteem. To improve your attractiveness, improve your clothing, personality, and mannerisms, not disfigure your body!...
Is that a guy?
You think normal tattoos are not risky?
so realistically these people have `zero accountability for their own actions and choices and blame others
