Congrats on getting that MEC 600 loader from a viewer. I modified my with the Universal adjustable charge bar which lets you change powder/shot charge without swapping bushings. Also there is an adapter plate that goes on the crimp stages that you can load
I've been out of the waterfowl game for a bit, but I saw some black cloud tungsten loads in sportsman's today. They mix regular steel shot with number 9 tungsten birdshot. They were also like 55 bucks for 10 or 15 rounds lol, I can't wait for this series!
Car/truck tires filled with sand makes a great bullet catcher. You might want to use cheap luon layered up to catch birdshot. You can just burn the wood away and sift the tungsten shot out of the ashes. Tungsten wont melt til 3 or 4000°F so you wont hurt it.
Been missing your videos Johnny! Glad to hear you making some every day for a few days now! Shotgun is a ton of fun to load I load a lot of shotgun particularly 12 gauge. Get you some buckshot molds and then you'll see where the fun truly begins!
I just got my first .410. Looking foward to this as I want to explore what it can really do. As you pointed out ammo is not cheap or easy to find. I have done a lot of 12,16, and 20ga hand loads but this seems to be a bit different. After 50 years I still have a lot to learn. Looking foward to this one.
I see you went with ballistic products. Great store. I dont have their roll crimper yet. I bought the fancy Gaep one. Cool videos Bro. Its fun to see you doing stuff I can relate with🙂👍
I dont know that shotgun reloading will ever be a major thing for me, but I do look forward to this. I have done some of 243Outdoors style ghetto slugs, and I plan on loading some #6 410 shells. Dang 410 ammo is ridiculously priced.
Shotshell reloading is what I started reloading when I was but a wee lad (10y/o)...
DEAR JOHNNY SANTA,
Sounds like a great series. Always excited for daily content, just don't burn yourself out.
Even though I have no interest in loading shotgun shells, I will be watching this series. Any JRB is better than no JRB.
Love your videos! I am going to reload 300 win mag for my 1969 Browning Safari! Thank you for all you do and continue to make genuine content!
Hell yeah daily videos, christmas just got so much better.
Great topic, I think many here want to dabble in this and don't know enough about it.

I'm excited about this series as well. I've been using TSS for turkey hunting in a 20 gauge for several years now. Have been wanting to reload it.
I've got a shitload of shotgun reloading supplies and absolutely no knowledge of loading shotgun so I'm really looking foreword to this series!

SO GLAD to see you covering some scatter stuff!!! 28ga is my passion. Loading 410 is also enormously satisfying. Have fun, Bench.
Looking forward to seeing this, I have that loader for my 410 and have never used it.
Pretty excited to see where this series goes...first started reloading with 12ga trap loads with my dads presses...

Do your best! Ill watch as they come through.
