Wonderful super healthy recipe ,,full of protein, natural sweetness used like honey, banana,,no butter but less oil is used,,will try this one within a day or two,,😊
And I made another loaf tonight. So easy, so delicious, so healthy. It's truly an amazing recipe and I make my own chickpea flour in the Vitamix. I don't know if it's cheaper than buying chickpea flour as I've never bought it before.
@@nyoleiyiayemin452 Hi. I just put uncooked hard chickpeas in my Vitamix and it becomes flour like magic with seconds. Same as bean and green lentils flour.
I use sprouted then boiled chickpeas instead of flour. I tried to make my chick pea flour. It made a lot of nose. It was easier to use precooked chickpeas that were thawed and drained. Now that’s cheaper and Quieter.
Thank you for a vid that matches the title. Have been searching for a recipe to male chickpea bread for a while now and ALL kept mixing the flour with another carb flour that I couldnt eat.
Thanks! I’ve been searching hard for baking recipes that use Chickpea Flour as their ONLY flour! But, are the banana’s necessary for anything other than lending a natural sweetness? I’m wanting to do a zuchinni bread. This looks like it would work, but I’m wondering if I can just substitute grated zuchinni in to replace the bananas. Or would that mess it up. Looking for guidance. I want to try to use only chickpea flour. Why don’t more people do this? Thanks again!
Before I had to go on a diet with no wheat, corn, rice or soy, I used a recipe from the Junior League Cookbook for either zucchini bread or pineapple bread. I expiramented and made banana bread with it. With that recipe in mind, I think you could likely substitute zucchini for the banana. You might have to play around a bit with the amount and also might want more honey added to sweeten the loaf a little more.
I tried this and followed your recipe and instructions but I added some walnuts and 1 tbsp of cacao powder, dash of cardamom, dash of ginger spice. I also used the same loaf pan like yours, the final chickpea banana bread did not seem to rise up more than 2 inches at its thickest. What am I not doing correct? Is it due to the cacao powder that may inhibit the rise? The bread appears to be baked. Its my first time ever at baking from flour. Thanks
I just bought chickpea flour today (Bob's Red Mill ) and 2 cartons of strawberries. I don't have bananas but would love to use the strawberries, do you think it would be ok? Also- I do have honey but I also have coconut sugar which I can substitute for the sweetness of the bananas. How much sugar do you think I should use?
I've tried it with cooked & ground chickpea(not chickpea flour) and banana without eggs. I didn't add the baking poweder either because I didn't have it. I just mixed ground chickpea, banana, and some ground nuts. Oh, I added some oatmeal later when the batter becomes watery.Without the eggs, it tasted good. The outside was a bit crispy and the inside was soft. I've seen in other recipe of chickpea bread, some people added chia seed. I suppose it would be okay.

Any egg-less alternative?
Making this now..my battar didn't come out quite as stiff as yours...will update when finished
Turned out amazing.. making one tonight again with some flaxseed and chocolate this time😋🥰

Try more baking powder.
Can't have bananas so do you have substitute I can use. Thanks
Apple sauce is a good alternative. 1/2 cup for every banana.
@@KeykDIY , Thanks. In the mean time I had mashed up a ripe pear an it worked good.

Ok- new update- I have banana (don't have cinnimon and not a big fan) but I'd love to add shredded zucchini to it! 😄
Can I make this with pumpkin?
I tried it with the exact measurement and it becomes a dough, not a batter, I think the measurement isn't right.
What if I didn't use banana or the other fruit? Is ok?
Thank you
i will try it 🤤😉🤗
I'm curious whether it will work without eggs, and me using flaxseeds or chia seeds instead...
Egg free substitute please?

how much calories per 100 gm any idea?
Can i skip egg in this?
No sugar?
Thank you for the video. Would this recipe work without eggs?
I'm thinking maybe peanut butter or flaxseed eggs as another viable binding agent
Looks wonderful but without eggs, how it'll work?
Chickpea flour can be used in other recipes as an egg substitute, so u don't have to put eggs in your batter if u want it to be vegan.
Very well
Merci very much :)
❤❤
How could we make this without the bananas? Savory. Thanks!
I was thinking maybe banana whey powder,i dont now how much.
Eugenia Salmon. I don’t want banana flavor. I want savory. But what would be a good substitution for the bananas? They keep the bread moist. Hmmmmm.
Maybe a tablespoon of sea moss gel
@@Pattymelt415 maybe pumpkin paste or mashed sweet potatoes
Can I use apples instead
Apple bread?
Apple sauce ? I guess it would work
Chick Pease works better with savory resapie rather than sweet use almond flour instead taste much better
