  • A beautiful Satuday in January, with the unusual weather forecast in the mid-40's, we decided to hike the trails of Siedman Park, located 5.3 miles north east of the town of Ada in West Michigan.

Looks like you had a fun family outing 😊 nice park to take a hike- Your comment made interested in going snowshoeing! with the holidays on the way I’m looking forward to some snow!! Cool to see the ant hills- even though they weren’t active - I don’t think we have them around us...

I'm from Grand Rapids and this hike has been my "go to" when I want a close, quiet hike. I have been training for my 2020 Appalachian Trail thru-hike. So excited about getting a chance to represent West Michigan on the A.T. I have hiked over a 100 miles on the NCT this Summer and a 22 mile section of the Sheltowee Trace Trail, near Corbin Kentucky. I will be v-logging my journey on the A.T. I SUBSCRIBED to your channel. Looking forward to more.

Kamper 2020 - we’ve been to Seidman Park a few times, but certainly doesn’t compare to the Appalachian Trail I’m sure. The Appalachian trail sounds fun, I give you credit, we’ve only ever done day hikes, nothing overnight. We’ll look forward to seeing your videos from the trail.

Yes, my shakedown hikes of 3 day and 2 nights minimum have been in Northern Michigan on the NCT and in Kentucky. That would be great if you would follow me.
