- Sometimes when we open an exported part that has the Coordinate System in an unwanted direction.
This will help solve that problem and thus be able to work with the part in Normal View (F8).
omgosh, in the end it's so simple. Thank you so much, you saved my day! I had an assembly were all parts were somehow misaligned to the absolute CSYS, although i built it all myself in NX. The video could be more compact though.
Thanks for the observation, I will take it into account for future videos.
Thank you very much indeed!!
Thank you so much!
thanks for making....
Hi, do you know a way to move a component to the origin of the assembly? I am not able to use csys to csys move tool because I can not visualize the coordinate system of the component within the assembly. There is a way to visualize datum in an assembly? Thanks
Maybe this video can help you:

@@darovame9372 Thank you for the link, but in my case, my component has been moved around from the origin of the assembly and I need to relocate it back again, but using contraints is not possible, so I think by doing a csys to csys move would be an easy solution, but without modifying the component internally like in the video you linked.
Is possible to do that? because I can not see in the assy the coordinate system to take as a reference for the move, or there is another way?
Thanks in advance.
@@Rovins85 The components are bodies or parts?
Because if you want to move bodies, only with the option Traslate ctrl + T you can move your bodies; constrains is used only for parts.
@@darovame9372 Hi, I finally discovered what was wrong with my issue , I only hat to replace the reference set of the component to "Entire part".(right button on the component)
By default, I don't why, the component was set to MODEL, so that I could not see any datum.
By the way, thank you!
Sir if model is in angle how to set the model in csys & origin point
