I would love to learn more about single firing that includes underglaze and brush glaze. Is it hard to master and would that be the reason why people do two firings? It would make more sense to do one firing to save one power.

Is the raised plant relief on the side of the beaker created with slabs with plant imprints? Very pretty!

Hi Jane, so enjoy your videos. Love the beakers and am excited to try raw glazing. Just a quick question, the green ware beakers appear to have a thick squarish lip while the finished ones seem quite narrow and softened. Do you finish the beaker lips before firing? And what temp do you raw fire to?

Glad you like the videos 👍🏼 yes i finish the edges with a surform when they are leather hard and then give them a quick sponge... i think i did a video showing this...? I like firing to 1140 with a 15 min soak - but just go to whatever temp your glaze that you use likes to go to... good luck! ❤️
