Is there a rule of how long your reeds have to be vs your vessel? For example a 4 in vessel, is it better to have a 12 in reed or 10 in? is there a rule to this?
Hi there & Great question! While there isn't a strict rule, there are some general guidelines and common practices for selecting the appropriate length of reeds for a reed diffuser.
The length of the reeds can affect the intensity of the fragrance and how quickly the diffuser releases the scent into the air. Longer reeds generally release more fragrance into the air, leading to a stronger scent. If you prefer a milder fragrance, you may opt for shorter reeds.
Also, the length of the reeds should be proportional to the size of the diffuser container. Taller containers may require longer reeds to ensure effective fragrance diffusion.

We received our butyl cabitol from DOW chemical, but it also sold by many other chemical manufacturers under the generic name of Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether.
