It's really not hard to tell when you are pleased your whole face gets in on the smiling! I love it! I will come back many times just to see your smile when you are pleased. You seemed to be pleased non-stop this time, you never stopped smiling and it was awesome! That's how great music should make you feel!
There names are Bill Medley ( dark hair) and Bobby Hatfield ( blonde hair). They were fantastic. And no auto tune. Back then either you could sing or you couldn't. These guys could sing.
This song was played more than any other song in the 20th century on the radio !! Read that again ! More than any song in 100 years of music ! Think about the greats Elvis, the Beatles The Rolling Stones ! Michael Jackson ! I can go on forever ! This was played more on the radio than any of their songs !!
No, they aren’t real brothers. They were performing in the south, very early in their career, (before they had chosen a name for themselves), and someone in the audience shouted that they were “righteous” brothers and so they became The Righteous Brothers. 😊😊😊😊
This was the most played song on radio and tv in the 20th Century. Doesn’t get any better. Try their son Soul and Inspiration and Rock And Roll Heaven. Greatest duo
The other brother sings lead on 'Unchained melody' which is another big hit for them & the key is low in it, yet in this one, he sings really high at times. They are both great. Love that they are both so talented that they both sing lead sometimes & then they back one another up in other songs.
TAYY, TAYY, TAYY!!!! There is one more Righteous Brothers song YOU MUST HEAR!!! "I Just Want To Make Love To You" ...Gotta hear Blue-Eyed Soul ride through Funky Town straight to Blue-Eyed Blues....
Little Anthony "Tears on My Pillow". 25M views. African-American doo-wop group. Television performance from 1960. Short clip which may not get a lot of views but worth watching even if you don't do a reaction.
Listen to: Soul and Inspiration, See That Girl, Unchanged Melody, I Just Want to Make Love to You, Brown Eyed Girl, Little Latin Lupe Lou...Never Walk Alone...et al.
great reaction.i see youv'e done unchained melody which was in a v emo scene in movie ghost starring patrick swayze rip, demi moore and whoopi goldberg. try the bill medley(the dark haied one)with jennifer warnes singing the end scene song from dirty dancing(patrick swayze, jennifer gray) i've had the time of my life.
No they are not actually Brothers and they got the name righteous Brothers when some black guys heard them sing and told him they were righteous so they went with that as a name not sure if that's the God's honest truth but that's the story we were told over the years the two that you were just watching where Bill medley and Bobby Hatfield the most famous but other members over the years were Bucky heard and two Jimmy Walker's
Marines (especially one) from the El Toro Marine base in Southern California started calling them righteous brothers. They needed a name when they recorded Little Latin Lupe Lu as a duo, without the rest of the Paramours, Bobby suggested they use the name the marines were calling them. When Bill left the duo for several years, Jimmy Walker replaced him. Bobby and Bill were back together from 1974-1976. Then they got back together in 1982 (I think) and performed together until Bobby's death in November 2003. A few years later Bucky Heard joined up with Bill.

No auto-tune or mix, just raw talent and emotion. No one sings like this anymore.
That's what you call blue eyed soul!!!!
their voices were perfect compliments to each other

It makes me so happy that yall are intruducing grampas music to new generation
They were the first act I ever saw in concert back in the early 60s. Listen to them sing I Want To Make Love To You.
I second that suggestion. One of my favorites. It's as good as anything they ever did and really displays their R&B roots.
Awesome song 🎵. Listen to Soul And Inspiration. You’ll love his voice in that song. They won 3 or 4 Grammys
Ok I’m on it
@@DaRealTayy ❤️❤️
Blue Eyed Soul Brothers I was 15 and now 73 yes young. In the Rock Roll Hall of fame.
Ll
You know a fun fact about this recording. One of the background singers, don't know which one, was a very, very young Cher.
You were 👍 👍
And you have just learned how to serenade a young lady.
Fantastic singers. Try listening to Sir Tom Jones.,. A Welsh singer again no auto tune, just him.
They say, Cher was a backup singer for the performance. ? And no, they're not brothers
Listen to: Soul and Inspiration, See That Girl, Unchanged Melody, I Just Want to Make Love to You, Brown Eyed Girl, Little Latin Lupe Lou...Never Walk Alone...et al.
If you've not yet done it, your next destination is "Unchained Melody"
❤
A young Cher was in the background singers
A young Cher was one of the back up signers in the video.
If I’m not mistaken, I think this is the video where Cher was singing the background
I know what you are saying
great reaction.i see youv'e done unchained melody which was in a v emo scene in movie ghost starring patrick swayze rip, demi moore and whoopi goldberg.
