- A while back we were scouring our local Big 5 Sporting Goods and we came across this beast of a board. It's called a SK8 SURF! With a set of normal trucks in the back and a swivel (surf) truck in the front, you're meant to have one of the most radical rides you can find! The Braille Team gives this board their best shot with the help of Andy Anderson himself! What board should we skate next?

DUDE I JUST GOT AN OLLIE AFTER A VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME BC OF YALL. I got a really bad skateboard last Christmas and used it for like two week and wiped out really hard and it broke the bored and my arm so I was recovering for a few months than when I was better I got my little brothers skateboard(which was also cheep) and rode it for a few more weeks than fractured my other arm lol but I recovered and stoped skateboarding at that point I still couldn’t do an Ollie my other siblings stoped skating aswell but a week ago a got one of y’all’s how to Ollie video so I watched it than I watched it again and watch all of y’all’s tutorials multiple times and I was out side and saw one of my brothers board(this time it wasn’t a cheep one it was from a local shop) and tried to do an Ollie and did it on my third try than I did it again and again. I’m still trying to get the back leg up higher but all the wheels are coming like two inches off the ground so I’m gonna keep practicing thx sm guys
Watching for a couple years now guys. Love the content, I have boards but can barely push around lol. Going to try more this year! Love seeing you all grow and do better each vid. Much respect for how all of you are working hard and killing it. Thanks, Fans from BC.

I would like to see some BRAILLE reviews of the more serious upscale surfskate brands like Yow,Hamboards,and Carver;but, not so much ANYTHING from Penny or any of the conversion kits.
I know I'm avidly observing what direction the surfskate scene goes and patiently waiting to see what manufacturers play out as the more high performance.
In Asia it seems that the surfskate and the new skate everything longboard is all the rage and I see it REALLY catching on here in the US. I would place the popularity of both new genre's;is the absolute fact that both of the new genre's allow a large segment of the population to participate in our beloved sport,that previously could not due to age,injury or inadequacy to master the core skateboard.
Now go down that rabbit hole and you can find a skateboard for every level of performance.
Pretty much took the words out of my mouth and then some that they could upgrade on trying out wood board surf skates cuz that one is plastic.

This day was my birthday, I like these videos. The strange boards is why I got to this channel in the first place. You know, walking around in public with an axe, stuff like that.
I have that exact one model of surf skate except I changed the trucks to a wooden board now. I changed the wheels as well and I set it up to used diverse wheels from time to time.
It's like the illegitimate love child of a penny board and a ripstik 😅

When are you guys going to test Carver surfskates? So much better than that thing or the waterbornes. I would suggest something with CX trucks. My brother skates a popsicle board and jumped onto my CX and was still able to do some decent flip tricks as well as manuals and nose manuals.

What about a spin the skate board, game of skate, it’s like spin the bottle with a skateboard but who ever it lands on skates then spins again and what ever direction it points they then skate that obstacle

It's more an A to B board than anything, but it'd be fun in a bowl, and it held up surprisingly well. I wouldn't buy one that looked like that, but if the front trucks ended up on a less kiddy looking board I'd maybe buy one. It's more effortless to carve on than a popsicle with regular trucks, by the looks of it. And I like carving on transition and streets/hills.

no doubt he could if given enough tries, but that definitely could’ve hurt him if he stuck it. you could be tony hawk himself and still not know how to handle the impact from trucks like that.

Can I ride with my right foot in the back and push with my left foot? I've ridden longboards all my life like that and once I started skating it was so hard for me to ride right foot forward instead of in the back of the board.
Yeah man do what you want! I personally think it is easier to set up quickly for tricks pushing with your back foot, but do what you want!! :)
