    Hi there. I was searching for this recipe and found your youtube clip last week. I try it today and it is perfect! We are Singaporeans living in Hong Kong and I don't think there is any restaurant here that cook Singapore-styled chilli crabs. Even if there is one, it will definitely too pricey to even consider.
    I used 3 crabs but the total weight is less than 1 kg. Took me about 2 hours from the time I started killing the crabs to finish cooking the dish. However, it is all worth it when my wife and daughter said that it tastes like what we use to eat in Singapore.

    Ketam kena marinate dengan serbuk lada putih 1 tea spoon dan tepong ubi kayu 3 spoon, marinate 15 minutes, baru mula mengoreng. 80 per cent masak sahaja.. Ok.

    Jika recipi ini bubuh air ,mada tumis, bererti recipi ini di Jerman sudah out dari resioi tersebut.. Masa Sos Chilli dan Sos Tomati boleh campur air 3 vs 5 spoon air filter yang panas dan miwed well..ingar nya.. Recioi Jerman sudah taruh air terlalu banyak.. Ok.. Pelanggan - Pelanggan You Tube. !

    Sos Chilli 8 spoon, Soa Tomato 4 spoon, gula 2 spoon, chicken stock 2 soon,, limau nipis 1 biji ambil juice dahaja, mixed well dengan air panas and put aside.. Ok.

    Thanks for uploading this. This is one of the dishes that I miss that most from Singapore! My family usually eats the crab with baguettes though. The sauce + bread = amazinggg @_@

    i dont use corn starch tho...just let the sauce reduce then the egg will thicken the sauce...very good video...and thanks for the recipe..:))

    is that taucu is just regular fermented beands ? cz in Indonesia it's called as tauco, someone else called it taucheo, n whatever, but i'm just wondering r they just the same ?
    n what's 1T means ? tablespoon or teaspoon ?

    I do not know how to handle crabs ... must cook them when they are fresh (alive) so cannot use frozen crabs , Therefore I think we can substitute it with tiger prawns or crayfish or lobster ? Should be OK, right ? Since the hero is the chilli sauce .

      use about a tablespoon of oyster sauce. I do...but dont use too much salt. oyster sauce can be salty. taste as you go along
