This type of detailed explanation, the accent, her obvious sincerity about her craft are all asmr triggers for me. This is exactly how I experience asmr in real life, its not always about whispering. I think people who say this isn't asmr haven't had the real life experience in a while and are used to being lulled to sleep with soft spoken tones (which is lovely). Its nice to be "caught off guard" and have an unexpected tingle when I'm at the checkout counter of a noisy grocery store because the clerk is taking their time being methodical and making small talk.
I like to get sleepy while watching asmr, but sometimes the video is so interesting I start fast forwarding to have a chance to get to the end before sleeping
Yep Dutch! Just watched the original video, she says she's from Holland. As a Dutchie I can hear it but she's done a good job trying to hide it and trying to 'adopt' a British accent. Distinct Dutch accents make me cringe terribly but she's quite ok!
@@CsykKrit Since she is Dutch she's basically hiding a Dutch accent imo. But like I said, she's done a really good job in 'sounding' English so a non-Dutchie would probably not hear that she's Dutch from her accent.
Strong lady, true craftsman. She gets so thoroughly immersed in her work, I imagine that her deep process is the key to being able to repeat work and make it all look the same.
It's time there was an international standard set for different levels of ASMR as to how much they are suitable for going into sleep so that you know youre hard earned slumber won't be executed by a stone carver smashing your brains
Having short fingernails that have 0 cuticle is one of my biggest pet peeves... it's like nails on a chalkboard or a fork being scraped across a plate (the prongs face down) >_< if her nails weren't so short I could enjoy this... but after seeing them
John Sprague I would have thought the same, except my mother is an artist and she owns a special knife just for hand sharpening pencils. It’s an artist thing to get more surface area on the graphite.
@@hannahktess I sharpen my pencils like that too when I'm drawing. They're charcoal pencils and I also finish them off with the sanding! :) I'm also left-handed so I was extra interested in seeing how she held her tools and drew haha

Yeah, ASMR isn't about being lulled to sleep, it's about getting those tingles.
Watch Annemarie Ridderhof Art
You “get it”. I think many mistake it for soothing and lulling you to sleep.
I love how into it she is. You can tell she’s very dedicated to her craft and I admire that.
6:50 That'll wake you up! Lol!
Rude man
Damm my heart nearly broke 😂
Lmao 😂
I was hoping for "I'll start with a pencil because without a point, there is no point"
ouuu i love stone carving so much, thanks!!
3:17-3:37 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
Pause
Oh...oh no...
Lmaooo
I'll singlehandedly view this 1000 plus times!
I’d like to see that

Who holds back the electric car? Who make Steve Gutenberg a star? We do.
"Remove the stone of shame....and attach the stone of triumph!"
and you thought Artisanal Pencil Sharpening was a joke
Yes i found that video again ! I love everything about it
her workshop reminds me of my grandfathers' :,)
I love “loud” asmr this is so tingly ~~
It sounds like she's Dutch originally
Yes.
South Africa.

What a brilliant person.
Had my heart attack at 6:52
12:22 I just had to make sure.
I thought I heard something else.
black _light lol
FACKED
Oh god I want to be into this and I bet it's super cool but those noises are making my teeth hurt, this is the exact opposite of relaxing for me D:
She is an artist..
It's time there was an international standard set for different levels of ASMR as to how much they are suitable for going into sleep so that you know youre hard earned slumber won't be executed by a stone carver smashing your brains
@9:16 just the tip 😂😂😂
The girl stone carver gets little love
6:52 👂🗣️
Who keeps the martians under wraps? We do.
Simpsons reference
How does she know the chisel is sharp if she doesn't dig it into her fingernail?
You should check out reflexologyhealing and upload her videos. Helen is pretty good at unintentional asmr.
Deep ending
At first I thought she was posh English, but now I'm hearing a little bit of Scandinavian.
Maybe that posh sounding kind of Danish person?
Someone else noticed that kind of zoom effect? It makes the camera go around randomly and zoom in and it's used in a lot of videos
She’s part Dutch 100%
dont be makin jollies up in here
5:20 using the whetstone made this a hard pass for me. So grating.
Candice Marie has moved on from watercolours, it seems.
I wonder if Keith was the cameraman?
What happened to the vinyl cleaning video? And what was the original channel again?
hi. the original creator of the video removed the video himself and asked me to put it down himself, which I did. best regards

Nice
I can smell the pencil.

@@pumpy8626 they're nubs. or stubs. You can't scratch anything with nubs... That alone pls no. GAWD WHAT DOES SHE DO WHEN SHE HAS AN ITCH?!
Kurosake 2290 SHE SUFFERS
Is she Dutch or British? I cannot figure it out
A normal pencil would do the same job
0:12 wrong. It’s widely known before anything else, you establish the chest size
Too short T-T
She meant her husband's tool kit lol in all seriousness she is relaxing really good ASMR
How about a pencil sharpener
Колотушка тук-тук-тук, спит животное паук.

Just the tip!
The way she sharpens pencils infuriates he
Привет, я гравер рисую по мрамору. Для меня есть работа у вас???))
Jesus Christ buy a pencil sharpener
totally not intentional... ya.... sure...
You're obviously new to ASMR.
why is this ASMR?
Apparently she's never heard of a pencil sharpener. 50 cents and you don't lose half your pencil

Why emphasize that she's a female
Fast, loud talking, banging, how is this ASMR...?
yeah thought the same :/
@@elguitarTom I know some of us have different "triggers" but banging...nope.
I like loud asmr and it can be hard to find.... this is perfect !
Watching craft and listening to explanations works for me. It's not for sleeping but I like it this way, too.
This is not really asmr
it absolutely is
What the hell is she talking about?
Pubes... What the hell do you think she's talking about lol
I know nothing about carving but idk... I feel like you shouldn’t have to sharpen a pencil that steep.
No asmr at all. I want my money back. 😠
Is this a voice over..?
Her lip movement isn't matching her words..
Lip sync may be a bit off.
She talks like a British Donald trump lol
Interesting but NO, not ASMR material.
Says you
@@trailerparksupervisor7046 Great retort...I'll make sure to find a way to repeat that sometime.
She is scary
Pretty sure almost anybody could do this and she just wants to make her job seem more important/harder than it is.
holobolo so when will you upload your first stone carving video? I’m looking forward to watching it 😄
