Update: After about 3 months of use I wanted to provide an update to my review. Over time, the rattle noise has worsened and I have taken to bringing the flagpole in at night. Also the rings are not spinning as freely anymore so the flag occasionally gets tangled up. There have been no rips or tears yet so it was an improvement in that respect. It is still the best system we have tried so far but not ideal. If anyone has experience with a better system please let us know so we can try it out and pass our findings on to our viewers.
Imagine going through the effort to dispose a worn out flag when you just toss it out, at least that's what I did to the Canada flags I had during the convoy 2022 protest.
