Very tidy site (the showers look massive) and a very pretty area. Enjoyed the scenery on the drive and the views towards the end were stunning. Little Poppy certainly knows what 'dog wash' means lol. She is so cute.
Hi Bob, jenny & poppy. I enjoyed the tour of Ireland, so pretty there. Where you are now is very picturesque & lots of walks for poppy. I am so pleased both of you have this chance of travelling & of course it provides me lots to see on your journey. Have a lovely time. Lots of love Linda xx ❤
Glad you didn't continue up to Whinlatter Pass - we did the same as you, but luckily in a car - but it was a wee bit "tight" in places, and if you dont like brick walls on both sides and a sheer drop and reversing I would suggest just taking the bike!! Love your videos - Many thanks for just being you - very informative xx
Haven't seen you since quite a while , been lost in the madness of work, life, work, nice to be back to let you share the calm and pleasantries of life. Thank you.
Stayed at that site about 4 years ago when it was still called scotgate. The facilities were second to none and the building by reception was a cafe. Stayed at bracelands at Gretna last month thought it was a lovely quiet site nothing like a car park and lovely facilities.
Smashing video production folks. Laugh when you mentioned water.😅 Some of the most pleasant, relaxing and beautiful places around. Cumbria, Penrith , Kendal, Kirby Stephen, Kiry Lonsdale and along the A66 tp Richmond and Barnard Castle. I would often travel across to Flookburgh Steam Traction, vintage and classic shows, unfortunately C19 had put red light for a time. The site looks amazing and the views spectacular. Enjoy the travel and stay safe.
Stayed there last year it’s a great site with stunning scenery although we did manage to get into the site first time without going round the houses🤔😂. The dog wash is amazing it’s the best one I’ve seen although the dog wasn’t that fussy for it but he did go in eventually.
Nice to see you back in the Lakes one of our favourite places to stay, you looked like you had a great time in Ireland but it didn't grab me at all, these videos do have positives for all viewers to help decide if places are worth visiting. I must say that this site looks immaculate and in a stunning area, we are not members of this club but might take a closer look at the NEC next week. Thanks.
Not sure what dates you were there Bob, but we spent 4 nights on Maryport Marina last week, it was gale force wind and sideways rain pretty much every day, it was like trying to sleep in a washing machine LOL, beautiful part of the country though and wife`s family are there so gives us a good excuse to visit often.
Looks like a fantastic site, added to our list now. Bob, we’ve been hoping to bump into you at some point to say thanks to you and Jenny for all he vlogs, we just missed you at Harlech. You must have pulled off of an hour or so before we pulled on. In the mean time thanks, all the best for now, Tony and Julie.
Hi Bob and Jenny and Poppy, a nice site, my sister stayed on this site a few weeks ago but in one of the lodges and they said how nice it was, loved the bike ride, what views at the top of the hill , nice little shop in the village for essentials he he x
You chaps arrived the day we left, after a wonderful four night stay. Half way though the video I was worried that you'd missed the other pub/hotel, so glad you didn't, courtesy of Bob's bike of course. I hope you both enjoyed a meal and a pint or two at the Coledale Inn. Good luck on your future travels both👍
Great video. We know that area pretty well. Stayed in Thornthwaite nearby. (Boring alert) Did you know that Bassenthwaite Lake is the only "lake" in the Lake District? Thanks both.
Another great video Bob and Jenny have enjoyed following your adventures have had many lovely visits to Dumfries and Galloway and Ayrshire where Victoria and I married in 2018 in Alloway which is home to Robert burns (if you are near Ayr its well worth seeing) we were due to visit last year but covid put pay Must go back up there again that site looks amazing and the scenery as well
Enjoying all the Ireland Trip and the return . Lovely looking site this Bob. Matter of interest, On your previous trips up here did you ever visit Lockerbie and the memorial? Great informative vlogs well produced as ever - keep up the good work 👍🏻
We must check out Gretna Green next time we pass. Lovely little village Braithwaite and the campsite looks grand with beautiful views. Something magical about the Lake District hills and mountains isn’t there. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
We always stop at Gretna Green on our way up or back from Scotland. We did stay at Gretna Green campsite but it was awful! Like a car park, so wouldn't recommend it any time soon! Braithwaite looks really nice though, one to put in the book!
Hi Bob, Jenny and poppy. Hope your all well. I know you will be at the NEC show and I would like if poss for you to do a review on the new swift voyager. It’s the swift 584. Love all your vids in fact just watching your Northern Ireland
On the approach to the Royal Oak, if you'd looked behind you there is a restaurant, Ivy House. We tried but couldn't get booked in, but at least there is somewhere to eat
@@BobEarnshawMoHo We were at Braithwaite Village site start of September and they were fully booked very time we tried . . . Ended up cooking in the van, so no real problem

I recognised Skiddaw! In summer months there are ospreys in the Bassenthwaite area.
Gretna Green has changed so much since i was last there about 20 odd years ago. Another great site with views 😊
It’s a fabulous site, with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. We were on that exact pitch when were there 2 years ago! What a coincidence!
It's a good pitch!

Good vid bob
We were at the Gretna Green food Hall today. The food was very bad and almost inedable, and expensive. You had the right idea making your own. 🙈😊

Lovely looking campsite Bob and Jenny. Lots of space and beautiful area. Looking forward to getting back to some UK camping like this 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev

Hi you two when we was there it rained every day and night 24/7 we are at Mablethorpe CMC site its a very nice camp and sunny
It can do that too! It is well named the lake district 😊👍

Yes all the others are 'waters'.

Yes, we went to the memorial a few years back, before we were filming. Very moving, all those lives lost.
We must check out Gretna Green next time we pass. Lovely little village Braithwaite and the campsite looks grand with beautiful views. Something magical about the Lake District hills and mountains isn’t there.
All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Yes, we love the Lakes.
Great site. I must admit we didn’t have any issue finding the park. Though I’d looked on google maps in advance to see exactly where it was.
Wise move!

We are very interested in the Swift Voyager 584 too, it may be one of the first Motorhome we look for at the show.
On the approach to the Royal Oak, if you'd looked behind you there is a restaurant, Ivy House. We tried but couldn't get booked in, but at least there is somewhere to eat
That's not doing meals either, looking for a chef!

Hi Both welcome to gods country👋
Err... but I'm still waiting for m'breakfast!! 😂😏 GREAT video, as usual!
Hi bob what is that POI you were talking about?
Point of interest files locate places on a Sat Nav. ruclips.net/video/vypKocWD_Go/видео.html
Do you ever use your roll out awning?
Yes, when it's hot, for shade. I could live without it though.
What don’t you like about them?
Not an easy site to find
