Ah it's good to hear you upload Karg-Elert. The sentimental bit in the last few bars is done perfectly, romantic and wistful. I'd particularly love to hear your rendition of the Handel impression from Op. 33 (No. 5 - Siegesgesang Israels), which is for harmonium originally but would sound amazing on a piano.
Can anyone clear this up? I'm looking for the music of this and find "Reisebilder" on imslp - it's the same piece (Op 7) except that it starts in D minor for the first 16 bars then the rest is identical to what is seen here? It's also subtitled "Morgensonne" as opposed to "Sonnenaufgang".
Lovely. Karg-Elert is underappreciated.
Short and clear. Thanks much.
Good music 🎶😊

i want to recomend another piece by this composer: Reigen, op 38 nº1. Super fun to play and to listen to. Hope you like it!
I like how the main theme flirts with an absurdly banal I-V right at the beginning but subverts it with a satisfyingly ambivalent III instead of the V
De 0:22 para 0:23 percebi uma nota no grave que me pareceu estranha. Soou como a tônica em segunda inversão.

The organ transcription on imslp is in d major all the way through so idk what’s going on
