I wonder about the weather variety across Japan, it looks like it's not super cold, but I'm not sure when this was filmed. In Canada, I take a 3 hour flight and the weather goes from +2 celsius to -30c, Japan is way smaller so I have no idea how much it varies from area to area.
I found some sites saying Japan has six regions when it comes to climate! It may be small compared to Canada, but stretches quite a lot from the North, where it's colder, so the South, where it's tropical.

no way I saw that man with the striped clothing and hammer in a hallucination I had as a child and he was miniature hammering into my bed! lol I never thought much of him till now that is exactly how he looked like that statue except he was in color, I think blue and white stripes with gold detailing but I don't remember exactly. That is so cool I hope it means I am destined to get lots of gold/money one day 😁🤑😆
