That $2,000 package with the power seat, sunroof, and Harmon Karden upgrade speakers, needed to also include embedded navigation. Makes absolutely no sense.
I'm seriously looking at getting this. The Oasis Blue Pearl pops, but I prefer the Sapphire Blue Pearl. But this looks really good in black, too. Real serious looking, and the persona you get from the black paint.
I have a 23 Mazda 3 2.5l na fwd sedan. My gf is getting the 24 Impreza sport. Ik not the comparison you were looking for but we’re paying roughly the same for them. I prefer the driving dynamics and interior of the Mazda over the Impreza. Over the same rough roads they were comparable. The Impreza does everything well but there is significantly a lot more body roll in comparison. We don’t have back seat passengers often but so far the Mazda3 rear have been fine even getting a lot of compliments. The back of the Impreza does feel more spacious but more standard. Overall they’re both nice cars. My gf cares less about driving so I think we both picked good cars for ourselves
The current RS is a shadow of its former self from decades ago. The badging means nothing. The engine in the RS trim is good enough for a practical daily commuter car. This Impreza is the rarest of the rare in the car industry.... The highest trim (the RS) is the best value. That's practically unheard of! But in the case of the Impreza, it's absolutely true! Mainly because the engine that you get in the two lower trims is just too slow. In the RS, the engine has good power. Not great power. Good enough to let you easily merge into traffic from the entrance ramp of a highway. You buy an Impreza because you live in a region of North America where you geniunely NEED All-Wheel Drive, and you want to get that feature for the least amount of money possible.
As much as i love the design its missing alot of things thats keeping it from taking off. Should of kept it with a manual option and the fa25 should be the standard with the base model and have the rs have a turbo variant with maybe 238 hp stock. I wish north america got the levorg sti with a manual transmission but that doeant mean dont buy the car this is a great car for a young kid or a nice daily car for the family highly recommend it for peeps
I think this looks good as a 5 door hatch! Much better than the gaudy plastic cladding like on the more expensive WRX! That 182 HP motor should be the base Impreza engine, similar to the Mazda 3. RS needs something more potent and an alternative to the cvt for people who enjoy driving. Its not bad, but i'd go Mazda 3 w/ a manual. Maybe the AWD makes more sense in a mountainous or lake effect snow region, but across the south or places that only receive a few snowfalls a year, that extra weight and extra gas burned just isn't worth it.
@CombatVeteranUSNAVY 1 minute ago Subaru keeps making the same mistake. They don't offer embedded navigation for those, like me, who don't want to deal with a phone. Looks like I will have to pass on the Impreza once again. I wonder if Subaru knows how many customers they are losing because of this oversight?
You pay for upgrade for 182 hp when it should already have 182 hp lol😅 and if you did upgrade leather seats as an option please. Or atleast make u pay upgraded engine like 190 hp and leather seats My 2014 mazda 3 has 185 hp So dont buy this until they make it 190 hp
It's no good having an RS badge without the RS power. In the UK 🇬🇧 the Audi RS puts out 400 + bhp. Why Subaru and Mitsubishi decided to end their fast car models made no sense. And to add a CVT gearbox was adding insult to injury. Come on Subaru youve taking the wrong direction
My spouse got this same exact one 2 weeks ago,so nice! He traded in his A5 2.0T and he loves it! He says it feels almost the same!
Lol!

I love mine it rocks!!!
My only criticism of Subaru is, not making a WRX wagon available for North America.
Subie Impreza is great ; I used to own a 2006 hawk eye, it was very capable and reliable. 👍

Did you decide?
@@willb8228 It's nice, but too much potential things to go wrong with the electronics in the display. Nice car, though.
Compare with a Mazda 3 AWD

this isnt a car for everyone but its a great Subaru for Impreza fans. Great value for price considering the used car market right now.
RS or the base? And why!
Cool info and video….
Very sharp looking car, just wish it had manual or turbo
I'd be satisfied with just the option of a 6-speed manual with the 2.5 liter engine.
Me too, instant buy

Not even a turbo imo, just even the AT BRZ/86 in it would be great.

Needs some 8 or 9 speed and at least 200 plus hp
Showing the interior and cargo space - but avoiding showing that there's no spare tire.
If that's a deal breaker for you then go and spend an extra 5k for a car with a spare tire 😂

The vaste majority of people have a smartphone right? That should answer your question.
You didn't open the back

Traded my 2016 Impreza for a 2023 WRX Premium. Would have considered the Impreza RS except no stick and no sedan.

Leather seats get too hot. I prefer cloth
@koreymayo8884 I said as a option to choose from
Wow 8 hp and it’s gonna start walking gti then eh??? Lmao

Underpowered. But if that CVT is the same cvt in WRX GT, then that might be a game changer. But if its NOT, then start to walk away toward the exit.
Well how about not buying a car at all. Your car works fine? Save the Unnecessary car payments. YOU'RE WELCOME.
Lets be honest, it is a boring engine!! 2.5L of meh. Just ditch this nostalgic wonder and make a WRX hatch again!
2.5 is good for city and gas mileage wrx your paying alot more for gas insurance also wrx got a turbo so gotta look after that.
Boring speaker
They downgrade from the previous model.
The only "downgrade" is the lack of a manual trans option (and I prefer a hand brake lever).
Rather homely isn't it....
Cvt is a joke .period
