Don’t feel bad, I have a 2021 lariat 3.5 Ecoboost with 20” fuel wheels and heavy 305/55/20 Amp terrain tires and run 4.80 0-60 with a tune. So stick for you seems pretty good.
I just put a Cobb intercooler on my 23 model and my boost maxes out at 14 PSI then quickly bleeds down to 6 psi. I pressure tested and had a leaking coupler but fixed that and no further leaks but curious why my boost falls off. Yours stays pegged.
Yeah, that seems off that it would drop off like that. If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have suspected a boost leak since you just had some hoses and pipes off while adding the Cobb intercooler. How much pressure did you test with? You may have to apply 10-15psi to the system to make sure you don't have a leak when it reaches higher pressure.
@@gearzgadgets5872 I will most likely test it one more time this weekend. It might just be because I need higher octane fuel. I wished I would have tested it before I swapped intercoolers lol.
@@James-Orr I'm running 91 octane in the video and at about 1150ft of elevation. Even with 87 in the tank, I think it would just pull a little timing back.
I personally love to launch mine in sport mode with the shocks in off road and the 4 auto setting instead of 4 high every one has there own special way to launch there raptor lol
I got a dragy now and my fastest times have been in 4hi. But yeah, everyone does it a little differently. I need to do an updated video with the dragy soon.
Here is a link to the one that I have used in several of my 3.5L EcoBoost vehicles. Normally, the blow off valve directs excess boost through a tube and back into the intake. With the plug, you disconnect the tube from the blow off valve. Then you put the plug in the end of the tube so that debris is not sucked into the intake. With the tube disconnected from the blow off valve, the excess boost is now vented out into the air. This allows you to hear the psshhh sound when the blow off valve opens. www.ebay.com/itm/254672142419?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=klsKuCz8TCS&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=EwV9Aq73QC2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@gearzgadgets5872 so you just lease it dangling there or did you Zip tie it to something? Also, a lot more sound or minimal? Seems like an inexpensive change. Any issue w warranty? Thxs!
@@bennyb8809 I did zip tie the bottom end of the hose to the blow off valve on the side. I could hear the blow off sound at all prior to doing this so it was a pretty big difference. I don't suspect any issues with warranty, but I would probably plug the hose back in if I had a major engine issue.
@@Slayer750 it has been winter here since I got the dragy so I don't have any "good" times yet. Upper 5 second range with slippery roads and/or some tire spin. I'm hoping to be around that 5.2s area bone stock when the weather and roads clear up in the spring.
I love the motor and the truck. I want one!!
Every-time you put out a video on the Raptor gets me thinking how I can’t wait to get mine finally!
It's a blast!!

I love the raptors. Got an 18 pltnm right now but my next one will be a raptor for sure
It would definitely be tough to not have one once you have! They are a lot of fun!!

What is this plug you purchased and what is the purpose? Sorry curious!
