I just want to say to you, Brad, that I took the time to watch several RUclips videos about clamp racks. Your video, imho, is great and is a space saver!! It holds a good quantity AND in a smaller amount of space than all the others I watched!! Good job sir!!
Once again you’ve solved a problem for me! Glad I saw @countrysideworkshop had built this too! I like that your plans are easy to understand and follow! Every time I use my fliptop cart I thank-you a million times over!
As usual a Brilliant Build and wow that's a lot of clamps. Going off note a bit, i bought your plan for the Mitre Saw Stand the one with the wings that fold down, i deleted it by mistake couldn't find it so went back to my download on your website and downloaded it again. This time i won't make the same mistake. Well Done again on the clamp rack i might have to download that as well, got a few clamps that could do with going on the wall. Just bought the Clamp Rack Plans, Thanks. Barry (ENG)
+Barry Roberts awesome, Barry! Can't wait to see your versions of those projects. Make sure to send them to me or post on social! And if you ever have any issues you can always reach out.
+Ludwig Barnes awesome! Thanks for your support, Ludwig! Be on the lookout for a special deal coming later this week for folks who have bought the plans
At 0:49 we get a glimpse of what appears to be a safety guard (or thumb guard) on a crosscut sled, with a dust port. I’ve seen this idea before, and have been meaning to try it. What do you think of it?
Wonderful job. Love that rack. And look at you getting all fancy with the stop motion. ;-) Great getting to meet you this weekend. Already looking ahead to the next event. Too much fun.
Nice job, Brad! I bought the plans and plan to build it soon. Can you explain the need for a "top"? Other than a flat surface for storage, does it provide any strength or rigidity? It would have been helpful to me to have seen a little more of the finished product at the beginning of the video to understand the rack before jumping to cutting the parts. Thanks again!
Great! Although I couldn’t follow completely to your description as the final images show the top as being joined to the sides from above, but the video shows you attaching the top to the sides from within the structure, hope this makes sense!
Definitely a nice design. The only thing I don't like about storing clamps in rows is that you're not spreading wear and tear across the clamps collection. Unless you empty the rack every project.
Great space saving project. Once loaded it's going to be very heavy. A critical piece you left out was how to securely mount it to the wall. What was your process for that.
I left it out only because it will be different for everyone. We mounted it into metal studs and I imagine most will be using wooden studs, but could also use concrete walls. Regardless the key is mounting it into a load bearing structure. We mounted it into 3 metal studs to help carry the load.
Thats a very clean, well built project. Video production great also. Im not sure how your channel has eluded me, buy Hey, you have a new subscriber my friend.
Nice build, I totally need one of these... of course I have that many clamps, doesn't everyone? Actually I have four times that many...I need a shed just for my clamps heheheheh. Maybe some day. :P
Dumb question. I just got a bunch of used Bessey clamps. If I hang them like that then the sliding part slides right off with gravity. Why don't yours?
+P Foster233 if you buy the plans for this clmap rack I have a special deal on 2pack 24" JET clamps. I'll be sending the e-mail to plan buyers this weekend!

WOW what a blast from the past! NO CAP
I’m in new market! Had no idea we were so close. That’s awesome
This video needs a double-like button. The rack didn't even budge when all those clamps when on there. Not that I doubted it.
+Jamie English thanks, Jamie! It's definitely stout.
The wall mounting seems critical. French cleat? Lag bolts into studs?
The rack looks great Brad! It was nice to meet you this weekend too
+Carl Jacobson thanks, Carl! It was really great talking with you and Robin as well!
Thank you, Brad. I really need something like this in my shop. Great seeing you in Atlanta.
+Kevin Hoppenwoth awesome, Kevin! Tag me on social if you build it! Hope to see you again.
Nice simple rack, man. I need to build one of these for my Besseys, my current rack wastes a bunch of space.
+Crafted Workshop Yeah, you should go for it! Saves so much wall space.
Once again you’ve solved a problem for me! Glad I saw @countrysideworkshop had built this too! I like that your plans are easy to understand and follow! Every time I use my fliptop cart I thank-you a million times over!
Awesome!!
Nice shirt for the video.
36 parallel clamps!! A man can dream
+Blake Haskins yes, I had to wipe the drool off before I left the building :)

I really like that clamp rack! Thanks for sharing the video!
+KSFWG thanks!
Wonderful job. Love that rack. And look at you getting all fancy with the stop motion. ;-) Great getting to meet you this weekend. Already looking ahead to the next event. Too much fun.
+ManCraftingTM thanks! I was inspired after that shine session :) Definitely looking forward to the next meetup.
Great video! That's a ton of storage for such a small space!
+Crazy Custom Creations LLC I love how compact it is!
I would love to visit that place! Great build.

Just bought your plans and built this today. Plans were awesome thanks!
Nice rack Brad! Very informative video also!
+Donny Carter thanks, Donny!
Wow, simple and sweet!!
Great job! Maybe someday I'll have enough clamps to need a rack.
+BronkBuilt Hahaha, I hear ya! Took me a long time to have enough to need a rack!
great video, must have been an awesome experience to see that training facility!
+KnottyDogWoodshop thanks! It was defintiely fun!

It would have been helpful to me to have seen a little more of the finished product at the beginning of the video to understand the rack before jumping to cutting the parts. Thanks again!
Yep, solely for storage
Very good turned out to be a rack !
+BUK thanks!
Great! Although I couldn’t follow completely to your description as the final images show the top as being joined to the sides from above, but the video shows you attaching the top to the sides from within the structure, hope this makes sense!
Great Video. Is this rack universal like can I store pipe clamps on this?
Dope! Love the final result. I definitely have clamp-envy. 👌🏾
+Sean Davis me too, Sean. I got to hang them all up, but not keep them :(
Definitely a nice design. The only thing I don't like about storing clamps in rows is that you're not spreading wear and tear across the clamps collection. Unless you empty the rack every project.
Hey Brad, Nice Rack!! Next time your headed to La Vergne swing by and pick me up!!
very nice
+shopinntv thanks!
Makes me realize that Shop Fox clamp racks are a good deal.
Great space saving project. Once loaded it's going to be very heavy. A critical piece you left out was how to securely mount it to the wall. What was your process for that.

Nice clamp rack! What is the top piece of plywood for? A shelf? I don't see how it could add to the structural strength.
What method did you use to mount to the wall? Would French cleat be strong enough?
Thats a very clean, well built project. Video production great also. Im not sure how your channel has eluded me, buy Hey, you have a new subscriber my friend.
+David Bishop thanks for the sub! Feel free to share the channel with all your family, friends, and strangers on the street :)
Sure thing. My own family wont even share my channel LOLOLOL
Holy crap that's a lot of clamps!! 6:33
+Dark Horse Woodworking Yeah, wish they lived at my shop!
I hear ya!👂🏽
Where did you get the nice looking plywood? I can only get construction grade. Birch is way over priced in northern Ohio!!
I purchased the plans for the clamp rack. Can I use 1/2" plywood for this instead of 3/4?
Nice build, I totally need one of these... of course I have that many clamps, doesn't everyone? Actually I have four times that many...I need a shed just for my clamps heheheheh. Maybe some day. :P
+P. J. Galati hahaha, wish I had them all too. Almost twice my collection
Dumb question. I just got a bunch of used Bessey clamps. If I hang them like that then the sliding part slides right off with gravity. Why don't yours?
amazing work❤ thumbs up
That like a million dollars worth of parallel clamps
What kind and how many screws did you use to attach to the wall? Assuming you attached to a stud.
+Fabio Alves we did 6 screws into metal studs. I think they were 3" screws.
thanks
Nice rack, Brad. Help me understand the need for the top. Isn’t this just wasted plywood, or is it really necessary for structural integrity?
You have so many those expensive clamps!!!
good Job!
+Peter's Werkstatt thanks!
Is the Powermatic shop open to the public?
+Vince Baker no, I don't believe so.
Great project and very useful. I enjoy the videos. JET/Powermatic clamp rack made with SawStop tablesaw?! :\
Holy cow. That place is every tool guy's Disneyland.
+Godwin Oliver O. Delica I had to pick my jaw up off the ground when I first walked in!
I want the clamps, haha!
+Making Stuff don't we all :)
So hard to find source to buy Jet Clamps...love them!
+P Foster233 if you buy the plans for this clmap rack I have a special deal on 2pack 24" JET clamps. I'll be sending the e-mail to plan buyers this weekend!
+P Foster233 assuming you are in US though.
Can you give me the names of your wood working tools?
you can see them all here: fixthisbuildthat.com/tools
Do you buy this many clamps or did you get through sponsorship? I'd LOVE to have that many clamps, but the cost is a bit prohibitive.
+Sean Loughran not my clamps, not my shop. This was for the JET Woodworking shop.
Ah thanks, as soon as you replied I got to the part where you took it to JET. Great project, I hope one day to need a rack that big!
+Sean Loughran me too :)
Sweet shirt
lol just noticed your clamps shirt
+Grady Smith seemed like the right shirt to wear :)
That rack looks awesome Brad!!! great job man. I love your videos, keep them coming :-)
Get the plans here: fixthisbuildthat.com/clamprackplans
Fix This Build That k
Very cool man. What kind of plywood was that?
+Roy Monica thanks! It's baltic birch plywood
As soon as I read the shirt I had to hit the like button!
Do I have that many, Yes I do
Too much clamps?
Dang this was overly complicated and hard to follow
Great idea on the clamp rack. This is the best solution I've seen so far. Your design inspired my own: lumberjocks.com/projects/351082
Luis, I took a look and it looks amazing. Great work!
