The first time I actually saw a Paladin use the LB3 was during a trial, everyone was in pretty shitty shape and were probably about to get wiped, then all I know is while standing there a massive wall formed right before a major attack, and the tank was just like "Didn't think I was going to make it in time lol" dude saved the run for sure and made himself look like a total badass XD
That's pretty much the anime power of friendship power up moment XD

Urgh, there is one boss, in an 8-man fight, I won't say the name since it's kind of a bit spoilery, where one tank has to activate the level 3 limit break at a precise time, otherwise, it's an instant wipe.
We wiped I think 6 or 8 times or something like that on that very moment in the fight; it got to the point where we had almost ran out of time, too.
It had been horrible, the one only time that I regretted being a tank. I do hope I'll never have to do that fight again.
@@FUnazis I'm pretty sure I know what fight your talking about lol it's my absolute favorite (Granted I am a DPS main lol) and ya I think most tanks don't care for it.
Usually someone will ask before hand if the tanks know the fight, if they both say no then someone will give them a count down and warning of exactly when to LB. 95% of the time it goes pretty smoothly 1st time but there have been a few learning runs.
But I enjoy the fight so much I never care XD
I like that the dragon head in Dragoon's is Midgardsormr, because that's the dragon WoL canonically has a pact with.
Well, canonically Azure Dragoon powers come from Nidhogg (as the WoL confirms in the level 80 job quest) and all dragoons have Midi's head in the LB
But it does make me feel closer to Midgardsormr in a sense
shouldn't the WoL be close to hraesvelgr since that help in the fight and this goes not just with dragoon WoL but all of em
@@shanesongco9588 Maybe its due to Nidhoggs eyes have been used the whole time. 1 was still merged with the armor of the 1st Dragoon... so it makes sense they tapp into that power. And in the end they are all 1 big family so its still the same bloodline, no matter if Nidhogg or Midgardsormr.
@@leiferikson850 fair enough after that fight Hraesvelgr had his eye back, so it might not have that permanence even tho it fully merged at a time
WoL wielded Nidhogg's power temporarily. WoL has a pact with Midgarsormr though which is why we get him in our LB.
As for someone saying all dragoons get Midi...no. We only see one other npc capable of a LB attack that is a dragoon, and thier's is most certainly Nidhogg that forms.
I love how Machinist holds up a fist at the end of theirs as though to say: "Yeah don't overdo it, that's enough damage."
And Ninja is just **Ninjutsu intensifies**
The fact that Scholar pets Seraph is the best thing. She deserves it.
I LOVE that Seraph sits on the scholar's hand for a moment.
I never put it together that Reaper’s LB3 is the WoL and their avatar doing 2 big slashes, and then they Enshroud to bring out the big scythe and decimate their enemy. That’s pretty sick

I never realized the whm’s staff turns into Aerith’s default weapon (guard stick) for the lb. Thanks for all the angles.
The kneeling animation is also Rosa's "Pray" from ff4!
Its her attack "Pulse of Life"! Also, the LB of Monk is from Tifa, called "Final Heaven"!
Astrologian’s LB is the coolest of the healer ones.
oh for sure, I even think it's the coolest one of all!
Until it blocks your view and you can't see incoming mechanics.

Personally I like sages massive code-spire most out of all the healer ones, might be biased though since it was the first lb3 I got to use
It’s really hard to see because our cameras don’t zoom out anywhere near far enough, but it’s actually a giant tree!
I like the DNC LB3. It's like if Vergil's Judgement Cut had a rose filter
MCH is so cool when you note the details. Left hand uses a kind of remote control and right holds an ear talkie, confims the operation with a commanding nod.
Yeah, but then there's the PVP LB that just gives so much satisfaction with one good 50 Caliber sniper shot. Gives the feel of Mustadio's sniper shot in the Orbonne Monastery Allaince Raid, Except you through it back in his face

The Sage one is actually even more impressive if you're REALLY far away, because it's actually a huge golden tree, looks absolutely amazing.

In like 99% positive it's supposed to be the tree of life (I forget the real name but most people seem to know it by that name anyway), it for whatever reason seems to be used quite a lot in Japanese media anyway funny enough (games, anime, and manga have been using it forever and it's always so.. interesting?).
When I first saw it all I could think was "fuck you Sage".. but then again I still have like the best LB being an AST main and all so I'm sure plenty have said the same to me lmao xD

@@NekoRawrrz I may be wrong, but I think that the tree is actually a representation of Hippocrates's tree, which was located in Kos, Greece. Hyppocrates is considered one the fathers of medicine. The kit of the sages is full of Greek terminology, and their LB name is a direct reference to one of his quotes if I am not wrong

I main White Mage and I love that LB3 so much. All of them are showy and powerful, as they should be, but whm has this added vibe of humility with the kneeling/prayer. Like, "yeah I'm a BA, but this isn't about me."
Monk may have been my first max class, but I always loved the noise Final Heaven makes while charging the attack. It's one of the only ones that just SOUNDS like it's going to kill you before it happens
I KNOW RIGHT!? even the impact effects are amazing with small angels feathers to it as well because you know "Final HEAVEN" :3 its just amazing and the sound of it charging just satisfying

@@seaweedstarfy It's a joke. Because SAM's LB3 just looks underwhelming and looks very much like a slightly flashier Rage of Halone skill of Paladin.
I'll never forget the WHM coming in clutch on one of the Bahamut raids I was doing with a static. Just them and a PLD left and the WHM LB3 just in time to save the Tanks life and rez everyone. We didn't clear it that run but it was still a cool moment.
Samurai’s has to be the most anime like finish of them all. Pure decimation with a blade. I’m still in love with it.

Reapers is my favorite, easily. Because when other classes go to cast there’s, most of the time I can’t tell who’s doing it till it’s done. But with reaper, you hear it, and you know it’s coming. I get goosebumps every time someone uses it in a raid lol
every time I do LB3 as my reaper I get so excited and I get goosebumps, the little sexy saunter before slicing is *chefs kiss*
RDM really be doing that "The finale" drip pose when the flash bang drops
This is a really underrated video because it's so hard to see LB3s when they're going out, let alone from enough angles to appreciate them fully. Thank you!
Other Healers: Bright and magical lightshow
Sage: “Hear me, all subjects of Ymir”
I still remember when back in the day there was only really 5 I think. Tank all shared one, only one healer, one melee, one mage type, and one range physical. Then again all we had was war, pld, drg, brd, blm, smn, whm, sch, and mnk for the time being too. Even then I think it wasn't until well into 3.0 (almost 4.0) before they gave all the different type of limit breaks when they added Drk, Mch, Ast, and all that.
Ranged actually didn’t have an LB3, they had the ranged LB1/2 and then BRD actually used healer LB3 before Heavensward

AST doesn't only look the coolest, it sounds the coolest too
It does sound cool and cosmic, but something about the Reaper limit breaks just slaps, the heavy bell tone and the thick slashing sounds always makes me want to press the limit break early in a raid just so I can make sure I hear it lol XD
I am just starting my FFXIV journey months after Endwalker release. There's so much to do and discover and I can't wait to unlock all these jobs and LBs.
Best thing you can do is take your time and enjoy the game at your own pace.

That's more a reference to Tifa's Limit Break in FF7 "Final Heaven"
Notes: Paladin (PLD)/Gladiator (GLD), White Mage (WHM)/Conjurer(CNJ), Bard (BRD)/Archer (ARC), Ninja (NIN)/Rogue (RGE) all need massive graphical and animation updates in regards to their Limit Break animations. They all look and feel subpar compared to the other jobs in similar roles. They're just missing that powerful "Umph" feeling after supposedly using their most powerful skill/ability.
Pala's looks great. A huge wall appearing is perfect. The one that is very meh from the tanks is gunbreaker. Their LB is a skill animation every scholar has at 52 and the scholar's normal skill is more impressive. Think about that.
WHM's is perfect. Heal 1 and 2, as well as WHM 3 are nods to Aerith from FF7. If anything it is missing a flower wave expanding outward at the very end is all.
Bards is the sickest imo
PLD has an awesome animation. Its one of the main reasons I fell in love with it lol if anything though its Gunbreaker than needs a severe update to it. Its so lack luster
i got to use sage’s LB3 in a raid, everyone raved about how cool it looked. felt like a badass for that one moment lmao

tank: Dark knight
healer: Astrologian
magic ranged dps: Black mage for sure
phyiscal ranged dps : Dancer (THE BEST OF ALL LBS)
melee dps : Dragoon ( monk is also cool but dragoon is better)
oldest jobs ie the ones before HW really need some texture upgrade to LBs .. it is really apparent with jobs like DRG and WAR
Every LB3 except for PLD, WHM, BLM, and MNK was introduced in HW so
These are all amazing and cool and beautifully well done and are all incredible!!!
For the tanks it's between the gunblade and the dark Knight as best.
For the healers astrolgia and sage and white mage are the best
For the magical range they are best
For physical dancer and bard
For melee dragoon and reaper and ninja

I've only used LB3 as an AST and WHM once, and just ONCE, before we all got wiped wiped while doing Sophia EX with randoms and Rabanastre.
My reactions were like "LOOK AT ALL THOSE STARS RESING MY TEAMMATES" and "RES Y'ALL I'M PRAYING FOR YOU". It's fun.
Ninja is doing all Domain Expansions ever existed

Tanks = Paladin->Warrior->Darkknight->Gunbreaker
Healers = Sholar->Whitemage->Sage->Astrologian
Mages = Summoner->Blackmage->Redmage
Range = Bard->Machinist->Dancer
Melee = Ninja->Monk->Samurai->Dragoon->Reaper
but in generel . . . Astrologian wins by far with the LB3

Its the skill "Pulse of earth" from Aerith, final fantasy 4 and 7. Complete with pose and effects.

This is very well done. I just kind of wish youd have also had a different look for each job. Personal preference and all but the santa dress just kind of takes away from the "coolness" of it all.
Thanks, I needed a universal glam to show leg movement and dress movement during casts, and it was holiday season so I was thinking, why not as Santas little helper

Healer: AST (Honorable mention to SCH)
Caster: RDM (Honorable mention to BLM)
Ranged: All are good. DNC is the prettiest for me, but MCH is just badass and I love the BRD bow at the end before the arrows drop.
Melee: DRG (Honorable to NIN but wtf are those mudras my guy)
Damn Sage and Astro got wayyyy better animations than WHM and SCH

Pretty much all of the Tank LB3s should get a revamp except for maybe DRK. As a PLD it really sucks to just erect a pretty ugly wall.
A phalanx of holy shields would look so much better, imo.
I always thought sheltron looked really weird too, I would probably play paladin more if it received a bit of a visual makeover.
Since it's canonical that the WoL uses tactics from both the classes (such as gladiator) and the jobs, a phalanx of holy shields makes perfect sense and i'm all for it.

There is an exploration mode, where you can revisit a dungeon alone, whithout ennemies and with a full lb3 gauge. It's in the duty finder.

where do you have to go in game to try these out like this?
If you haven't figured it out in the year since you asked, you can go to dungeons with adventure mode (maybe it's called exploration mode) and there will be no enemies, you can use your mounts and change your job and try out limit breaks as often as you like

Yes like said above it's from Explorer mode in duty finder but to be more specific it's a Stormblood dungeon, final boss area(if you know,you know).

not gonna lie, i was not expecting dancer to have judgement cut end for an lb3. also the monk and dragoon ones were super fun but warrior's felt like it should be an attack. I already knew about red mage but i would still macro saying "flashbang deployed" or something.
fun fact: if gojo satorou was in final fantasy he'd play astrologian as a dps and his lb3 is just "domain expansion: infinite void"
