Listening to this dude talk about the damage gambling does is incredible, my father was a gambling addict, lost everything multiple times over, from marriages, to homes and businesses until the final straw came for him when he slipped into illegal gambling networks for credit, he ended up a few hundred in debt before he was threatened with physical violence for non payment of the debt etc, shortly after that I paid his final debt off and he went to rehab, almost 10 years later he’s completely free of the disease and hasn’t looked back, but the lifetime of damage it had already done to our family multiple times over can never be undone

Hell spent 12hrs the other day gambling turned $500 into $6400 my wife was falling asleep at a slot and was up over a grand 😂 she'd had been up since 2AM the previous day for work and we never got home until around 3:00. It's nice when you go and it's up and down all nice but slowly moving ahead, there's been times where a grand only took me half an hour to run through. But all in all I've lost $1900 and won $23,500 over the years so no complaining here. I usually just go two days out of the year since it's a few hours of driving and definitely not a drive you want to take in the winter time. I been around gambling since I was around 7 or 8 myself, mostly 5 card draw, 7 stud, midnight baseball, blitz and then holdem later when it got way more popular. If you are up just make sure you leave they way. Always gamble with the house's money if you can and walk away even if you're on a nice winning streak, there will be others. Also bring someone there with you to make sure they tell you when enough is enough that's a damn good thing to have to save you from going completely broke

But theres some months where that 20 gets burned straight away in sub 5 minutes, its those sessions where the temptation kicks in to slap another 20 in "I can't possibly have another run that bad". He pretends to be their friend, while they're having a good time, he's like a hawk and these wealthy people are his prey. If he really wants to be benevolent he can quit and just run his foundation for addicts. But he doesn't. He has to keep putting exotic cars into his garage and seeing how many stacks of Benjamins can fit on top of his piano. He says its a dark evil place that destroys lives, then why is he still there? He's part of it. And he's so good at what he does that casino owners try to pay him off so he stays away. He's just like they are. Loves money. Can't blame him for that though. Mikki is a legend and it's dope that he always makes it a point to tell people NOT to gamble unless they can afford to lose the amount you are going to play with. Casino's are not built on winners and it's foolish to think you are going to bust the house. No such thing as free money. Unless you are a freak, like Mikki, with the uncanny ability to play the game to perfection.

I have only ever gambled with upwards of $80 cause that was how much I can afford to part with cause I woulda spent it on something stupid like a video game. So may as well just play some cards and MAYBE win, if I don't then I back out. I have went in with as little as $20. It's all just what I could lose. That's how you should do it. And it's fun. The rush you get cause suddenly those cards aren't just cards. And the thrill of potentially winning is amazing, but I always pull before I might even Spiral.

I've seen my friends parents divorce because of gambling, I've seen marriages fail because of gambling, and honestly I wish I wasn't exposed to it at a young age. But knowing what I know now I heavily discourage and warn my friends. Sure the casinos have cool activities and shows but all they want is your money. Having a show or an arcade or anything like that to bring people in is to bring in more potential gamblers to exploit them. Love Las Vegas as a whole but man, it's insane.

That guy realizes what he’s doing and is able to explain it, and still goes there which increases his risk of failure. The point of real addiction is the person is not in control of their own actions, and I can think of many drug, alcohol, gambling, coffee, etc addicts that most likely couldn’t stop if they wanted to. Do they all deserve sympathy and coddling and such? No, but everyone deserves some measure of help if they are helpless. The only “real cure” to these things is to never start in the first place, or to abolish the activities. My dad works as a security officer at a Casino. From what he says, it's a difficult job.
People who lost money or are drunk try to fight him and stuff like that. I just think working at a Casino can be a depressing job, and can be depressing to people who have difficulties at them.

Maybe Mikki is a nice guy, and maybe he does good things for people, but he is NOT "banned from Vegas". He's not on MGM's ban list. However, the "ha, got eeeemmm" guy ISSS banned from Wynn casinos. I was there when he was trespassed before I transferred to MGM.

However, if you were losing your entire lifesavings somehow you don't gotta go, and no limit is placed on you. Satans home would be casinos. Im in AA, gamblers anonymous uses the same book we use in AA. Mikki has def been to GA before haha. And he read the book too! Because the way he described the difference between a "hard gambler" and a "real gambling addict" is word for word from the Big Book (except in the big book its hard drinker and real alcoholic). Its a spot on description too and ive never heard ANYONE who wasn't in a 12 step program describe it how Mikki did.

I was working as a dealer in a casino for 2 years in my 20’s.
The amount of sh it I’ve seen there is jaw-dropping.
I’ve seen ppl spend all their time there and if not already, slowly going insane.
There was this one guy who brought millions in and he was literally threatening to to cut our throats.
Another guy was a really wealthy person, always well groomed, always fancy clothes.
When I left, so 2 years later he wore sweat pants and played table minimum.
A third guy was a lawyer who also played table minimum and his “tactic” was to annoy and infuriate dealers until the point their burst out and he could sue the casino. He was literally saying stuff upon loosing a bet like “are you saving for flowers to you mom’s funeral?” And sht liek that.
I had minimal interactions with slot players but maaan, some ppl were literally kissing the screen to give luck but most shockingly some ppl just put their money, clocked the machine to maximum and left…
    Aaah, don’t go to casinos!

He gambled a lot and came up with these insane stories that people desperately want to beleive but he is a scam artist and a true bag of dog shit. Its unbelievable that people could be so gullible to think that some crack head is beating the odds and that its even possible to do the things hes claimed. When you have so much money coming in that you dont even know what to do with it you gamble. When you gamble that much you are likely to have stories of winning a lot of money. He largely did this to explain away the vast sums of money he came into.
