  • We tried CPS port parking in Southampton and it was super convenient (but expensive). We parked right next to the ship.
Here's how it works: *you follow the signs for CPS parking *pull up in a que *they explain to you what will happen *they take lots of photos of your car *you remove all luggage and things you are taking with you *you give them your key and they drive it away to park for you *you have a keyring style receipt that you keep so you can easily get you car after the cruise *when you leave the ship after your cruise you follow the signs for the CPS car park *show your receipt at a small out-building *they give you back your key and point you in the direction of your car!
CPS parking is very popular and will sell out so it's best to book early. If you are using the parking as a free promotion with your cruise (most commonly with P&O cruises select price) you still need to book using your cruise booking number, if you don't do this early you could risk losing the perk!

Sure it is expensive but just so convenient and your vehicle is safe.

Suppose it depends on how much you value your car, don’t fancy leaving my car in a public car park for a week

Official port parking like CPS is for sure the best and most convenient option apart from the fact it is so expensive

park at the shopping centre £5 a day and just across the road and your car is undercover and secure.

@@superseven220 were were with royal caribbean you can see the ship but is a good walk with cases we got a taxi it cost £8 last oct. the car park has gone up a bit . we are going again in august for two weeks and will use again the other terminals are not far but you would need a taxi . when you get back taxis are just outside so no walk and drop of at the car park. you just pay before you leave .it payable hourly but was £5 per 24 hours we paid £35 for 7 days plus £16 for taxis hope this helps.

@@superseven220No it depends on which cruise line you are cruising with, there is also AB Parking and between the two of them they serve all cruises
