- how to fix unable to Verify iOS 15 update on iPhone and iPad, iOS 15 update says iOS 15 update failed verification because you are no longer connected to the Internet.
I’m still having problems updating...it starts the process and then just says “...an error...” 🤯
We tried everything including force shutdown and nothing worked. Apple said it needed repaired lol. The phone sat for a couple years and wouldn't update, I needed the phone finally and watched this video. Its funny how simple the fix was. I tried the hard restart again and then held the two side buttons on my Iphone 7 to turn on and it worked.

There is NO FIX TO THIS. The only way to do this is to force the update
through iTunes on a PC or Mac. The #1 reason why this happens is that
Apple is sabotaging second hand phones which have non-authorized battery
or screen replacements. They want to make life hard for customers
buying 2nd hand phones from non-Apple sources. Just find a friend who
has a Windows 10 computer or a Mac laptop/desktop and ask them to do the
update for you with the phone plugged in.
It could just be anecdotal, but I also had this issue after I replaced the battery in my iphone with a third party battery. It wouldn't be surprising however as apple have repetedly shown that they are against the right to repair, at least when it comes to the consumer.
@@jasperpye5597 They want you to get frustrated with a third party repaired iPhone. That's all there is to it. That's why they wont allow you to update your phone over the air anymore.
