“Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe”
“Tell them the North remembers. Tell them Winter came for house of Frey”
These lines gave me the goosebumps, fantastic!
For real. Two the most epic lines in this series in under a minute
The Starks send their regards.
Unfortunately, after 3/8 episode, they changed the screenwriters
@@drazenbicanic3590 good..
@@Thawhid good?
Arias “the north remembers” little speech to the other girl gives me CHILLS everytime….doesn’t matter how often I’ve heard it
It's nice they gave her this moment considering they didnt fi e her much to do in season 7
Same here
However many times we just watched this I got literal goose bumps every time!
Every. Time.
The same ...
“ Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe. “ Great line .
My favourite line of this show
Fuckin LEGENDARY
fking chills 🥶🥶🥶
The most badass thing about that line is that she's calling House Frey sheep, and she slaughtered them like sheep.
what most people don't notice about this scene is how savage Arya is in this scene as she doesn't remove the mask until after they all die so the whole House thinks old Walder killed them
Loved it
That’s the Faceless men training.
Doesn't matter what they think. They're dead ahahah
@@ami7mina
Yeah, this post doesn't make sense because the girls who LIVE know it was Arya 😅
@christianstachl because she wanted others to know it was her but she wanted his family to think he betrayed them
One of the coldest lines in the show "tell them winter came for house frey" love that line
The north remembers too ...
frey*
I would have preferred that the line be, 'Tell them winter fell (Winterfell) on House Frey,' so that there would also have been the reference to the Stark house more specifically. But that's just me.
@@jordandoyle7636 ooooh that's some Eminem wordplay buddeh🤣
"Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe."
Hands down the most chills.
Arya is the most dangerous woman in GOT. If Arya wants you dead. She's not sending Dragons, Assassins ,Soldiers or religious nuts. She coming for your ass herself
Word!!!!
Facts
It is known 😁
She’s more badass than all the characters combined.
Female John wick in medieval times
"Leave one wolf alive, the sheep are never safe."
One of the best lines from GOT.
I always love the fact that she prevented the woman from drinking, could’ve easily let her die as well but she knows that she didn’t deserve it like the rest did
Arya’s beef isn’t with the innocent, it’s with those who murdered her family.
She also needed a witness to let everyone know what happens to people who betray House Stark. Otherwise it would just be an unexplained sudden death of Walder Frey and all of his banner lords
David Bradley is a brilliant actor, I am sure he got a kick out of this Scene and changing his demeanor to Arya's for that brief moment before the face was removed to show Maisie's in his clothes.
Remember. He's also Filtch in Harry Potter.
@@9Tailsfan amongst many many others
@@9Tailsfan oh now I noticed what was his age by the way . He seems same though 😅
@@theghost6412 He was also good in The Strain.
"Winter is coming" is House Starks motto, but "The North remembers" is a rallying cry for every house north of the neck from Moat Cailin to Last Hearth across to Bear Island.
Arya earned every ounce of my respect that day..saved the girl from poison...killed an entire house..we now know she saved the world...
"tell them, the north remembers." In my opinion, that is the best line in the whole show.
"Tell them, *winter* came for House Frey."
"Leave one wolf alive, and the sheep are never safe" is so iconic
this whole scene was banger after banger quotes
Great line. But I think Sandor has it beat a few times.
"You're shit at dying"
"If any more words come out of your c*nt mouth, I'm going to have to eat every chicken in this room"
But personally, my favorite is the iconic "We know no king, but the King of the North, whose name is Stark"
Such a good call back to Tyrions "the north will remember this" to his father Tywin
Can we just appreciate the actor playing his role as arya playing him :-)
Talisa: Stabbed in the stomach
Robb Stark: Killed by Crossbow
Catelyn Stark: Throat slit
Roose Bolton: Stabbed in the stomach
Tywin Lannister: Killed by Crossbow
Walder Frey: Throat slit
The gods do not take kindly to those who break a covenant of hospitality.
How come it took me so many years to make that connection!?
Wow I never saw that either.
GRRM got the Red Wedding idea from a real Scottish family who broke that rule.
@@Neenerella333 oh really, do you have the name of the family?
@@allflowersaredead I heard it on an episode of Lore podcast by Aaron Mehnke. Can't remember. But I think the two families were cousins as well.
Winter came for house of Frey
Leave one wolf alive and the sheep is never safe 🔥
The best line I've heard in a while ngl 🔥
The actor who plays Frey is amazing. He makes the scene! He’s great in HP too. We all buy it as Arya because of him.
Maisie just owned this role.
And THAT's why Arya is my favourite character !!
She is sooooooooooooooo badass !!!
"badass" Deus Ex Machina lol
MId-series , i was telling someone that I know people I like will die, we've established that, but If they screw up the Arya story-line, I'm going to hate this series. In the end, I was pleased with at least that part of this series.
Mf like to trip here. Memory of a goldfish to all sides lmao
Deus Ex Machina how? You're using those words, I do not think it means what you think it means.
She learned the magic of the faceless men, and revenge has been her whole story arc. That's not unexpected that falls right in line with the story.
“Tell then that the North remembers, and that winter came for House Frey.” 🥶
I don't really like GoT all that much. But Arya's words here were brilliant.
Before this scene "winter is coming" was meant as a warning that trying times lie ahead. That one must always be prepared.
But this scene right here changed everything. "Winter came for House Frey." So from this moment on the motto of House Stark means "whoever you are, however powerful or wherever you hide, make no mistake, House Stark will get revenge".
I also love how Aria created a moment in their history to rival the story of the Lannisters and the song "Rains of Castamere", which is the story of the Lannisters wiping out a House because they felt disrespected.
Aria wiped out the Freys because they betrayed an offer of trust and hospitality. While the Lannisters rule by fear, the Starks rule by JUSTICE. To break the trust of the Starks is to flaunt your ignorance about the coming storms of Winter. My guess is that hundreds of years after the events of the show, the phrase "The North Remembers" remains in the thoughts of anyone that even THINKS of turning against House Stark.
A Stark always pays their debt.
@@joshuadunn2 timber and winds?
i remember seeing somewhere that ALL the words for houses in westros say something braggadocios and or boastful only the starks are a simple reminder
Do you like the books?
Idk if it's just me, but did anyone else catch the hint near the beginning of Arya's speech to house frey? "I've gathered every frey that means a damn thing so I can tell you my plans now that WINTER HAS COME", meaning she's here and going to get her revenge.
I did!
It's pretty obvious, that's a lot of people (reactors) picked up on it being Arya so early.
It would have been so good if they hadn’t showed Arya kill walder and this scene still played out like this. The reveal would have been insane
Sandor Glecane: "Where's Arya?"
Brienne of Tarth: "Back in Winterfell."
Sandor Glecane: "Why are you not there protecting her?"
Brienne of Tarth: "The only ones needing protection are the ones crossing her."
Sandor Glecane: "Won't be me."
Both understood how extremely dangerous and lethal Arya had become.
Arguably her (or rather the actor of old frey) best moment. This will be the scene which Arya will truly be remembered for.
I LOVE the part where he/she says 'Leave one wolf alive...and the sheep are never safe'
Pure brilliance!!!
“when someone asked you what happened here, tell them the north remembers. Tell them, winter came for house Frey” spectacular in the way it’s directed
I like knowing that a good number of people were thinking this was a flashback, which means the ending was a sweet, sweet surprise for them.
"Leave one wolf alive, and the sheep are never safe. "🐑🐺😈
I don't care how many people complain about the ending of this show, watching Arya's character Arc alone is worth seeing this series.
She is the most bad ass character In the show! Love her
Loved the revenge. However, an entire House is wiped out & I don’t think there was a later scene where other people ever discussed his epic event.
Cersei does comment that 'something' destroyed House Frey, which probably means the Lady Frey didn't deliver Arya's words (because she uses her family's words which would implicate the Starks)
@@JinxedPixie88 yeah, I think there was some lines like "whoever did it isn't our ally" or smth
Listening to the Starks saying "Winter is coming" for 6 seasons, then Arya dropping that line chilled my blood. Fucking huge circle that just got closed..
Kudos also to Mr. David Bradley for those scenes he played a disguised Arya and delivered those iconic lines great.
I loved the character arcs for Arya and Sansa Stark over this entire GoT series. They started as children, kind of spoiled in Sansa’s case, but both grew to be strong powerful women you don’t mess with.
They both went through pure hell to get there . But in the end Starks are untouchable,,,
Agreed, I'd also add Danny to the Stark sisters, but she lost her mind in the final season :(
Also a reminder of what a great actor David Bradley is, his depiction of Walder Frey is as good as anyone done for any character in GOT.
I almost want to see a continuation after this just to know what sort of mythology would persist in the mind of the people of Arya Stark.
Death by drowning after going to the violent Sunset Sea, that even most of the experienced (and not so crazy/dumb) ironborns refuse to sail.
There is the "myth"
just another name for the many faced god
@@joaop4585 oh look, someone who doesnt know the lore butthurt about a badass fem.
arya probably made it all the way to ashai, just like Elissa Farman. had adventures no one alive will ever know.
Im not the one who doesnt know the lore. Im the one who doesnt wipe the floor for bad script
-"oh look, someone who doesnt know the lore butthurt about a badass fem."
Being a psycothic murderer Deus Ex MAchina doesnt make you boss... make you need therapy and good writting lol
-"arya probably made it all the way to ashai, just like Elissa Farman. had adventures no one alive will ever know." The girl who ventured and had more experiences during her grown on Fair Island. And during her departure to beoyng the west on the Sunset Sea got the most experienced crew she could.
And even by doing that only her ship (1 of the 3 that went) really got to Essos. And guess what, noene of the marines/crew were seem again on their life time. Not sh*tting on the Farman lady, she achieved what most of the ironborns could.
But there i a difference between a sh* character and a good/interesting one. And it is not by gender, its by build up. But i guess that is too much to process for someone that think sh*t writting and bad plots are a good ending LMAO
@@joaop4585 I think her story had a good ending even if the written for the show went to shit at the end. I tend to just focus on the good moments and ignore the shit they threw in, makes for a better story that way.
If your this bitter about a TV show so many years later, Maybe you should try and move on. Read the books, enjoy them whenever they come out, find another show to wash away the sour taste this one left. Shadow and bone seems good.
Nikki..? Steven..? Arya by no means went "Jedi Master" on House Frey, no!
She executed Order 66! (Or in other words, she went full on *Sith Lord!!* )
Darth Sidious Himself no doubt took notes! (and if he didn't, he should have!)
if you want to be technical she went full jedi knight on house frey. last time i saw so many quick deaths anakin was slaughtering children
Im so glad you are getting to see reactions from the same people who reacted to her mom's,brother's and sister-in-law's murders reacting to Arya getting justice for them.
Gotta love the family at 9:30
That lady in the middle barely changed her expression....just a constant "WTF am I watching" or "WTF is happening here" look. lol
Remember when We excited about Game of Thrones?
The North Remembers!
This scene still gives me goosebumps. I miss this show.
Arbour Gold is the same wine that was to be given to Daenerys. Love the references throughout. If someone on Game of Thrones says Arbour Gold wine they’re usually lying lol.
Walder Frey was rich enough to buy it -- he was wealthy anyway, because he makes people pay him to cross that river, and then the Lannisters rewarded him for murdering Robb. If I were Arya I'd have used the real thing because why the hell not, might as well give those murdering bastards something nice on the way out.
11:30 I thought I was the only one who thought this scene shows how evil walder frey is and never ever not a single thought that it could be Arya...
Yeah even i was like..how come hes got this newfound love for his family..
honestly s/o to the dad that didnt directly spoil it for who i assume is his daughter. when she was asking questions he just said “thats not him” so its still fun to somewhat figure it out on your own!
That and also at the very end where the daughter was clapping, the dad understood and the mom had this terrifying and confused look. priceless.
When I watch epic scenes like this, it makes me even more upset about how the series ended. The last episodes completely destroyed the rewatchability of this show for me.
season 8 is unwatchable, and 7 is pretty bad as well
For real
100% I'll watch reaction videos of the best scenes, however I've never even thought about re watching the series.
I never watched season 8 so I can rewatch all I want 🥰😂😂😂 My brother told me how bad it was so I didn’t bother
@@Staceyishere Never watch it. It will destroy GOT for you if you do.
Arya Stark may be my favourite heroine in all of fiction. She has a strong sense of morality; of right and wrong; of dignity. She can't abide injustice and woe betide anybody who crosses her. She is impetuous but calculating. I would fill my pants if I had her as an enemy.
I don't generally cheer somebody's death, even in fiction - but when she 'offed' Polliver and Littlefinger, I cheered.
“Arya has made her way to the Jedi council “ 💀 😂
Gotta love the last guy. "I called it! ... WTF?!?"🤣
"You leave one wolf alive, and the sheep are never safe. The North remembers. Winter came for House Frey."
This is one of the scenes in the later seasons that they got right.
This was great!!!!
Thank you for the memories. I do hope you can do more of these.
Thanks for watching!
The best of Arya's kill-list 🌟🐺
Seeing Natalie makes me want to rewatch all of GoT with her again. Or maybe some of the memorable episodes.
Which one is she?
@@user-wd6qo3jy6t 2:58, Great reactor.
All the episodes are memorable of game of thrones even if season 8 is bad it's still memorable in a way
The last guy's reaction is as pure a demonstration of the Dunning Kruger Effect as I have ever seen.
He was like, "I called it. I figured it out!"
Not.
But he got a nice shot of I'm smart satisfaction for a minute there... and that is what his brain will remember.
“The North Remembers” 😮
It's weird for me how everyone is so shocked that it's Arya, when he said that "I gathered every Frey that means a damn thing" I knew it's her
Ohh this scn was 🔥 i still have the goosebumps whe she say "THE NORTH REMEMBERS"
At 8:00 the girl in the front had no idea why everyone was freaking out until Arya took the mask off 🤣
The last reactor didn't notice until the mask as well. I don't know how it's possible...
Fkn gives me goosebumps. Loving your reactions. Much love from England. Xx
Winter came for house Frey is on my shirt.
I think it’s funny with the people that literally were surprised at the very end. If you watched the series, you should have known pretty quickly.
"[I'll] tell you my plans now that Winter Has Come... tell them Winter Came for House Frey", turning the least boastful motto of a great House into a bloodcurdling threat to every other noble family.
What a badass scene
She endured alot of pain to become one of the Faceless Men assassins
And the one wolf left alive is the most savage, most clever, and most bad-ass of them all.
“Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe” best line in this scene
I guess it wasn't a flashback scene
We need a game of thrones sequel for Arya Stark and her adventures after this. You know she didn't settle down and become a lady of winterfell.
@Dan Beech, don’t forget Slayer of the Night King.
When i watch thud episode...The amount of satisfaction i got from this was immeasurable...i smashed my keyboard out of joy 😩
Watching this makes me so angry knowing how the series ended... could have been the perfekt show! God dam it really loved this show
The guy in to the far right of the watch party at 8:17 looks so over everyone else in that room lol
Like no reaction what so ever lol. Like why you even there bud? Granted I'd be done too if people kept talking over the lines.
I’d be upset too if it was just thing with my friends in my house, not a watch party that’s going on RUclips lol
Truly concerning how long it took some people to figure out Arya was wearing a mask
The last guy said he called it and still missed the most telegraphed scene in the history of mankind
That second one, "I like that they're celebrating like yey we murdered people, 2 mins later Yay! She killed them all" love it! 😂
The guy at the end is slow as hell lol. He thinks Walder Frey would murder everyone in his own family (the episode after Arya, a faceless man, killed him) LOL
The funny part is that he thought he had it all figured out, then when Arya took off the face his mind was blown.
@@bishopman2308 That got me, too lol
Haha he had the best reaction though!!😂😂
Love the one dude at the end who thought Frey killed his whole family aha
Ayra Stark: master of making an entrance.
"Don't worry. She's protecting you, honey."
HAHAHAHA.... Nope!
You can't kill EVERYONE. There will be nobody to carry the message.
She wasn't gonna kill the innocents. She's not a heartless killer. Lol.
But what you say is true tho. They do need someone alive to talk.
True, she only need one person to deliver a message and shed most definitely pick an innocent person instead of one those people
I think the message part is a convenient bonus. She’s primarily sparing an innocent.
Yeah, but also she had no desire to kill the girl as well. She wasnt there that night, she had no say in the scheme to betray them at a wedding. So she left her alive and made sure to tell her to make sure everyone else knows what happens when you cross a stark.
As tormented the Red Wedding made Natalie Gold, I'm glad to see her proud here. I'm sure she was looking for bloody vengeance
This is by far the best sequence in the whole series. I love all of it!
That one older lady in the 9 minute range never changes her face, and it's amazing 😂
The North remembers. The Wolf never forgives and Arya Stark never forgets.
I almost expected the theme from mission impossible to play when the face came off
7:30 - 8:00 - Dude on right sitting and chillin!
This...this is the same show that gave us season 8... this was beautiful.
I’m just confused as to why the last guy would think Frey would kill his entire family, especially after watching a whole season of Arya and the faceless men.
Right. I was like dang peop....didn't you'll just see her cut Walter's throat while wearing a face? A flashback? Pay attention...it should've been a given that it was her...what'd they think she was doing the whole season in Bravos? Coming back to close eyes forver & check names off her list like she said
There is a lot of lack of understanding going around like an epidemic in every single fandom. It's maddening because they could just, y'know, rewatch it or read it again and pay attention this time but no, it's easier to proceed not knowing what the hell is going on. Frey was all about family. He might have abused his relatives, but given the choice between benefiting them and benefiting some stranger, it was House Frey every time.
I’ve never seen any entertainment go from height of the world to never mentioned and it was because of that horrific final season
Yeah dude, you called it
The beautiful thing here is that on the books another stark/ tully will do that ,lady stone heart
That is a great quote "leave one wolf alive, and the sheep are never safe.😂 beautiful.
Lesson. #1. Don't fuk with the Starks! The North remembers.
She took down a whole house
"Visiting house frey" lol 😂
Where did they find 5 people who hadn’t seen this before? Didn’t think so.
Tell them... The North Remembers
Tell them... Winter came for House Frey
That was an awesome scene😂 not to mention poetic justice.
Love that quote "leave one wolf alive, and sheep are never safe."❤😂
This was so good for so long.
Lol dude is like "I called it" um no you didn't.
That unmasking reveal flabbergasted last dude like a scooby doo villain ahaha 😅
I just want people to stop calling her Ar-ee-a like an operatic aria. Her name is Ar-ya. Like “are ya” going to the movies with us?
