No 'might be' about it Alma that IS THE BEST POUR EVER!!!!! Having spent the past 12 months or so watching literally 100's of pours from some great artists THIS POUR is the best one I have seen by far. All I can say is 6 people need their heads read!!! OMGosh!!!!! Definitely "OMGosh" is THE word for this one, Cathleen! I'm dancing for joy with you! This is absolutely GORGEOUS! I can't wait to see it dried! I've used hammered spray paint on furniture, lamps, and decor items, but never IN a poured painting. I can imagine the fumes!! (You really need a respirator and a well-ventilated space when spraying those paints.)
Gosh, Cathleen, there's gonna be a RUN on Rust-Oleum's hammered spray paints...especially in this Antique Pewter color....and it's all going to be your doing, Girl!!!!! You need to get a sponsorship from Rust-Oleum...and NOW!!!
Beyond the fabulous effects of the hammered pewter, I love that you included the DecoArt Pewter (one of my favorites!). That bit of DA Pewter blue and the black really helps the rest of the monochromatic colors POP. Also, adding that black spiral of paint was a genius idea! Very, very cool, Cathleen! In fact, it's STUNNING!!! Keep on dancing, Girl!! I'm a-dancing with you!! And I can't wait to see what you do with it next. Big, happy hugs! ~Cheryl
Thank you again Cheryl. This piece dried perfect. It looks like a silver necklace is threaded through it. The spray paint tends to stay on top of the acrylics for a bit. I was worried at first. But it then settled down into the acrylics. I was grateful 😊🎨🤪🖼

😯 on last weekend I walked through the spray paint section looking for a specific color (turquoise metallic) to paint my canvas for a glitter/broken glass project and wondered how would the hammered spray paint look in a painting.
