WOWSERS! New fan here. Both were gorgeous! The first swipe was a beauty...goodness!. The second pour with that touch of black placed alongside the cloudy effect in the middle from the Satin Enamel just draws the eye right to it and gives it definition. Thank you for the inspiration!

I don’t know where you get the time to paint,post videos & reply to your many growing followers but your replies are greatly appreciated 👍 I personally find there are a lot of wonderful acrylic artists on RUclips & there are some doing same thing over & over again. However you are on a different scale altogether everything you do is creative & so original to you absolutely fabulous 🥰 even what you consider not good, the rest of us would be delighted to create & then you noodle & it becomes even better your 100% so talented. Honestly, this is the best swipe I've ever seen! I have never been too keen on swipes and as a very new beginner, I've never done one. My first two attempts at a dirty pour were abysmal failures and when I say failure I mean my paints which I know were not too thick, when dry, had so many places where the paint pulled away from colors right down to the canvas and was poured over my very first pour that was ugly. So how in the world does it pull so bad that it goes through the wet and dry paint down to the canvas? Perhaps you can tell me what the hell I did to make that happen. I will tell you that I ran out of Floetrol and had to switch mediums in my paint. Perhaps that was the problem. The second medium came in a kit and was very thin but I mixed them to be of equal consistency. So I've been trying to learn everything I can I've likely watched well over 100 videos from many artists and this is the ONLY swipe I've seen that I love! I will try this for my first swipe.
Hello Laura. Nit sure what is happening to make your paints roll off like that. My guess would be paints to thin and maybe to much paint left on the canvas that you should tilt off. Are you on Facebook? If so maybe you could message me some picture. I’m Coz Creations on FB. My paints are the consistency of warm honey. When you drip it off the popsicle stick into the cup, it leaves very little trace when it hits the paints in the cup. My pouring medium is 75% Floetrol 25% Gac800. 50% paint mixed with 50% PM. A little more Pm if the paints are heavy body. Keep at it Laura. You will get it with practice. Paint consistency is everything. 🖼🎨😊
@@COZCreationsArt I don't even know what Gac800 is. I used initially 50% Floetrol and 50% paint and added water to make it flow to where there was no mound and left a slight trail of a line in the paint where it disappeared in 1-3 seconds. Then I ran out of Floetrol and used a pouring medium that came with a U.S Art Suppllies kit and it was much thinner but still mixed the paint the same consistency. Later, after my grandsons left I made up pouring medium of Elmer's Glue All clear at 60% glue to 40% water and didn't have that problem. There earlier ones with my grandsons all split but mine was the worst. I was having to help them, my daughter and then finally I got to do mine so we were all learning at the same time. I think it might have been the differences in pouring mediums because about two weeks earlier I was keeping my grandsons and we did some pouring for the very first time (they loved it!) and it didn't split away and we used Floetrol only mixed fairly thin, pretty much about the same as said above and no cracking. I'll keep at it but I know my grandsons will be disappointed. I'm going to try to make it look like white paint for them by coating it with resin twice because they were so happy with their results and I will just pour over mine again or simply throw it away. Gac is kind of a flat paint isn't it? I have watched several videos where people use that. So if you use Floetrol, Gac800, and another PM (pouring medium?) what type is that?

Lisa it’s due partially to my paint density’s. There’s a video called “how to get mega cells without silicone” a ways back. It might explain more. 🤔
