Very interesting and intuitive, how does one counter the arms being lifted up while achieving the arm motion back? Is it subtle curve gently moving up due to posture tilt when actually set up to ball?
That is an interesting one and something I’ve always got caught out by my swing. Essentially, the arms lift up and what gets them behind you is simply the upper body rotating. It’s hard to trust that they will get behind you, but that is the mechanics of it, there is very little pulling of the arms across the body to get the club behind you.
Just subscribed to your channel as I come back to golf , 2 weeks away. I hurt my lower back, that exact spot that you showed in your other video. I’m painfully aware of the stress turning back (stack and tilt, keeping head centred, and trying to come around with my left shoulder down) and through (exaggerating the weight transfer or not doing a transition). I’m going to give this a shot and see if I can live normally with this sport I love.

Good luck Stuart. I hope it makes a difference for you.
