Are the grilles able to come out? I had thought about making some carbon covers since they aren't made anymore. It would be easy to make a mold if the grilles would come out. BTW, you don't have to be a "how-to" channel to post up the process to modify things. That's how most builds or modifications turn out sometimes. Little quick videos like this can pay forward for others. 🎉
Unfortunately, they don't really come out :/ I definitely feel you. I don't mind providing info when I can, but in the past, I've recieved surprisingly angry comments because I didn't document every tiny little detail because they were looking for a "How To" video, and that's not what I was doing. Basically, I'm just an idiot modding my car and doing racecar stuff with my friends. I'm not a RUclipsr and I'm not a mechanic. I'm just a guy enjoying the journey of owning and modding this chassis, you know?
@@ChaseFarrow Thank you. Could you please get me the measurements from the outer edge of the scoop, to the bottom edge or the rocker cover door, and also the top of the scoop, to the rocker cover seam?
@@exoticspeedefy7916 If you're wanting to do this mod, your best bet is to buy a kit that comes with a template rather than try to do it going off of any measurements that I could possibly provide. I don't remember who sells them, but I have seen a number of people do install them with templates.
Just subbed! Great quality videos with great editing. I’m building a track car and can not thank you enough for the videos and inspiration
Thank you! That means a lot!!
Perfect timing, too, because the series of videos starting today are my best ones yet!
@@ChaseFarrow let’s go!!

@@ChaseFarrow We're all just idiots modding cars in some respect. You run your channel how you want to. Angry people will come and go no matter what.
Nice!
Hi, where did you order the rear brake ducts? I want to stick them on my base C5
They're GM OEM replacements. You'll need to cut your rockers and buy the actual ducts that lead to the rear brakes. These are just the inlets.

@@ChaseFarrow Yeah they don't sell kits that I can find, and you can't find the full templates. I spent hours searching on the web lol. No worries.
