This song has always been my favorite tune from The Byrds "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" album. The years have not deminished the power of Gram Parsons song. This clip proves that the spirit of Gram is still with us, through this fine performance by The Desert Rose Band. Wonderful vocal by Chris Hillman ✌.

The info. above says 2014. I figured it had aged a bit. Jorgenson and Duncan left the band in 91. Hillman and Pederson still do some projects together. They all cross paths every now and then for tributes and/or charity events, but the band as we know it, disbanded a long time ago. A damn shame. They were one of my faves in the 90's!

Hi Gary, yes. This was 2014. The last electric desert Rose band show. A one-off played in Breim ( Bergen) Norway, Europe and part of a range Reunion concerts they did from 2008 till 2014. First day was acoustic and second electric. Unfortunately Bill Bryson could not make it. Mark Fain of J2B2 ( john jorgenson bluegrass band) did a nice job playing Bill’s bass parts. Cheers, Willem

Looks like Herb's using a Blueridge, maybe a BR-160... nice line of guitars.

Nope, he’s playing a Blueridge 5060 John Jorgenson Signature guitar.
