To check if there’s film, take a shot and watch the rewind lever as you advance the film. If it spins, there’s film.

Out of all the XA models, which model would you recommend a beginner photographer to pick up? I like the easiness of the X2/4 but from what I have heard, that the X produces the best once you know and understand the camera.

yes the XA4 would be the easiest. but then you dont actually get to understand photography so i would get the XA for sure. plus i like the lens a little bit better.

for sure. i did add a little warmth in post as well. not much though
