In our religion all animals are important. Like every creature is our family. Even plants are very important . In proper hinduism eating meat , fish , egg even roots veggies are not allowed. And you have to give 15% of your foods to animals and birds . But now we hindus not following our religion properly so we eat meat fish egg everything. But in hinduism cows , monkeys, and elephants are most holy animals we can't harm them it's like the biggest sin. Eating non veg is a choice but not eating it is dharma. But in hinduism nothing like forcefully so people are free to do and eat whatever they want. In their next life God will punish them 🙏
If possible you should watch ramanand sagar ramayan as it has exact events as described in original Ramaya . In this movie there are many things not shown and some are altered to keep the length of movie in limit.
