TV is not as good as movies? Bullshit. Maybe that was true twenty years ago, but nowadays the writing and acting in a lot of shows often far surpasses what you'd see in the average movie.
***** besides the graphics playing a role, it actually wasn't a bad game and was a pretty good one, in fact I would give it a 7.8 out of 10; maybe even a 8.2 out of 10. it reminded me a lot of super mario 64 (by the platforming aspect) with a much bigger focus on on fighting and action.

I played the original CSI game and Dark Motives. I thought both games were a lot of fun! Although I never got past the first case in Dark Motives because I was missing a piece of evidence that, for the life of me, I could not find. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the games.

Draftgon Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is based off of the TV series Sonic Boom, which is loosely inspired by Sega's Sonic series. It's a shame the game sucks so bad...The cartoon is actually really good.
Honestly graphics are important though I mean if the characters were very grainy and blocky looking and were painful to look at, even if everything else was good or decent it still would be hard to play due to the models.
That wasn't "The Burning Earth" you showed for that Avatar game. I've played that game AND the Burning Earth, and both of them were pretty good. Now, the Nintendo DS version of the game you showed, that's another story.
You say TV shows generally aren't as good as movies. I disagree. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. While movies have a budgetary advantage, they're pressed for time. TV shows, while made on lower budgets than movies, have more time to flesh certain aspects out. Another thing to note is adaptation. Movies based off TV shows tend to suck and TV shows based off movies are usually inferior.
I see. Avatar(Aang) is one of worst game ever based this video rating. I have play it(Its my childhood game), the objective is so confusing and being harder to beat it because some kind of card game at certain part of game(played when player reaches earth kingdom), and spell is somewhat useless. The player starts on water kingdom, located where the plains surrounded by cliff(its NW part of first stage), and The Avatar is next to The Appa. The game was too easy at beginning, but getting harder because some kind of mini game that player must can beat in order to beat the game. The equipment system is somewhat was almost no special affecting on damaging enemies or raises player's defense. The menu are confusing too...
These guys obviously never read the interview with the game devs that made "Survival Instinct" - before it was even released the guy said that they wanted the zombies to be stupid. but threatening in numbers. I played this, and I will say, for 20 dollars, I died quite a few times, especially before the cross bow comes into play about half way through. You have limited ammo, any loud noises you make attract walkers, 1 or 2 aren't a problem. 3 or more become pretty stressful as you die quickly and one nab could end you. Under rated zombie game if you ask me. Gave me plenty of good experiences.
Not to mention, the little "gripes" they have about zombies running into doors that you aren't even near happened, like, once in the entire game. They will find a way to get to you or they will crowd up under you and swarm you the very moment you leave you perch. Sure, you can avoid them on the roof of a car, but if you touch pavement they will smell you because you sweat when you run in this game and they will fallow you. It has some neat little mechanics.
Exactly, the game wasn't meant to be a big flashy AAA title. It was meant to simulate the situations you can get into in a zombie survival situation. sure it's rather simplistic, but it gets the job done and I found it to be more engrossing and enjoyable than any of the latest RE games, or any of the Dead Rising games.

I think the reason why most people hate The Walking Dead is because people expect to see all blood, guts, and action. But you always need a story, to tell something to make it very compelling and zombies are fantasy characters and with characters needs a story to be told. IMO The Walking Dead can be very boring at times but it is very character, story driven. You need to start asking yourself, "What is the threat?, Why should we be afraid of them, What makes these characters good and why do we love them?" Those are the things you need to ask yourself as you're viewing the story. I'll be honest, I'm not going to lie, I LOVE ACTION, I love action so much it gets me pumped up, it's almost like having adrenaline and waking up quickly, but stuff needs story and The Walking Dead does a great job of telling a story and I loved how Survival Instinct got to explore the background of one the most badasses of the show. I have seen numerous zombie films from Romero to Raimi to Pegg's Shaun Of the Dead and I can tell out of the the whole bunch, The Walking Dead does a great job of spicing things up with story telling. Adding new threats to the show instead of just showing us zombies and it makes us aware that if society we're to crumble during an outbreak, who do you kill and who do you trust during a time like this because humans can also be the enemy. The worst zombie game out there is not Walking Dead but that stupid Dead Rising game which made me frustrated with. Your weapons kept breaking up on you and the zombies would not disappear. You kill a zombie and they would instantly respawn. The game pissed me off so much, I stopped playing it for awhile and retried it but it was still the old shit game I played before. As I said before The Walking Dead is a great show, it can be very boring at times but doesn't change the fact that it still tells a good story and there has ben numerous times we're they make your heart beat fast with the story and there has been a lot of action, blood, guts, beheadings, eye gouging moments. If you want to watch a zombie show with all action and very little story to be told, I recommend for you Z Nation. Not as good in the story department and acting but it might meet your criteria.
dear Watchmojo, There is an error in the honorable mentions part of this video, the game shown for Avatar the Last Airbender: The Burning Earth, is actually the original ATLA game (there were 3) which isn't all that bad if you look past the repetitive gameplay and shallow rpg elements.
Avatar the last air bender as it was called over here in Australia. I remember buying it, it is actually a pretty good decent game and it did actually have a good storyline and some good gameplay.
Fun fact, Pimp My Ride was made by Eutechnyx, the same company who made Ride To Hell Retribution. So the fact that the game sucked should be no surprise.
I actually enjoyed the walking dead survival instinct and the whole point of it was really to give background info on daryl and merel because they weren't in the comics

I'd say Little Britain. All it has is seven mini-games which are irritatingly boring, and although it's aimed at adults, a three-year old could easily figure out how to play them.

You didn't play any of those games huh? Because 24 was actually pretty good with a decent storyline. The stealth was even passable and the AI wasn't all that bad. It even had some replay value to get the best score on a mission based on time, headshots and kills, freed civilians, capturing terrorists instead of killing them and goals achieved.

Sure, that Tool Time game seemed odd out of context, but looking back, most games in the 1990s were platformers where you battled giant spiders. Wanna sell McDonald's? Put Ronald McDonald on a platform and make him battle some giant spiders. Just released Wayne's World 2? Have Wayne and Garth navigate a series of platforms and battle some spiders. It... made sense at the time... I think?
I remember when I was just a kid, I wanted to rent a game from the local movie rental store and I chose Superman for the N64. I played it for a week. Never got passed the rings of the first level. I returned it after that week and never let my brother play it. Didn't know until years later, that it was one of the most terrible hard to beat games ever. That game caused me to never rent any games in my childhood years!!!
seeing that superman 64 game brought back a lot of good memories split screening with my brother when we were kids. i remember waking up at six in the morning and rushing to the christmas tree to open presents, thats where we got our 64 but our all time favorite game to play was star wars pod racing. god i wish i could go back to that age

I had the south park game on the N64 (not the ps1 admittedly) and honestly I think it was a minor masterpiece, hilarious and clever weapons, long single player campaign with 5 great story arcs that all tie in together, hilarious dialogue, and the multiplayer had the entire cast as unlockable characters, references and easter eggs galore, honestly whats not to like? How did the ps1 mess it up so bad?
The thing you said about The Walking Dead game - about how easy it is to avoid walkers (by sprinting by them or standing on top of a car). You obviously don't watch the show, because that's how they can be avoided in the show as well. I see. Avatar(Aang) is one of worst game ever based this video rating. I have play it(Its my childhood game), the objective is so confusing and being harder to beat it because some kind of card game at certain part of game(played when player reaches earth kingdom), and spell is somewhat useless.
The player starts on water kingdom, located where the plains surrounded by cliff(its NW part of first stage), and The Avatar is next to The Appa.
The game was too easy at beginning, but getting harder because some kind of mini game that player must can beat in order to beat the game. The equipment system is somewhat was almost no special affecting on damaging enemies or raises player's defense. The menu are confusing too...
These guys obviously never read the interview with the game devs that made "Survival Instinct" - before it was even released the guy said that they wanted the zombies to be stupid. but threatening in numbers. I played this, and I will say, for 20 dollars, I died quite a few times, especially before the cross bow comes into play about half way through. You have limited ammo, any loud noises you make attract walkers, 1 or 2 aren't a problem. 3 or more become pretty stressful as you die quickly and one nab could end you. Under rated zombie game if you ask me. Gave me plenty of good experiences.
Not to mention, the little "gripes" they have about zombies running into doors that you aren't even near happened, like, once in the entire game. They will find a way to get to you or they will crowd up under you and swarm you the very moment you leave you perch. Sure, you can avoid them on the roof of a car, but if you touch pavement they will smell you because you sweat when you run in this game and they will fallow you. It has some neat little mechanics.
i agree with you the zombie are dumb but can be hard to kill when you low on ammo or they a swamp of then. it basic like a real life zombie simulator
Exactly, the game wasn't meant to be a big flashy AAA title. It was meant to simulate the situations you can get into in a zombie survival situation. sure it's rather simplistic, but it gets the job done and I found it to be more engrossing and enjoyable than any of the latest RE games, or any of the Dead Rising games.

I think the reason why most people hate The Walking Dead is because people expect to see all blood, guts, and action. But you always need a story, to tell something to make it very compelling and zombies are fantasy characters and with characters needs a story to be told. IMO The Walking Dead can be very boring at times but it is very character, story driven. You need to start asking yourself, "What is the threat?, Why should we be afraid of them, What makes these characters good and why do we love them?" Those are the things you need to ask yourself as you're viewing the story. I'll be honest, I'm not going to lie, I LOVE ACTION, I love action so much it gets me pumped up, it's almost like having adrenaline and waking up quickly, but stuff needs story and The Walking Dead does a great job of telling a story and I loved how Survival Instinct got to explore the background of one the most badasses of the show. I have seen numerous zombie films from Romero to Raimi to Pegg's Shaun Of the Dead and I can tell out of the the whole bunch, The Walking Dead does a great job of spicing things up with story telling. Adding new threats to the show instead of just showing us zombies and it makes us aware that if society we're to crumble during an outbreak, who do you kill and who do you trust during a time like this because humans can also be the enemy. The worst zombie game out there is not Walking Dead but that stupid Dead Rising game which made me frustrated with. Your weapons kept breaking up on you and the zombies would not disappear. You kill a zombie and they would instantly respawn. The game pissed me off so much, I stopped playing it for awhile and retried it but it was still the old shit game I played before. As I said before The Walking Dead is a great show, it can be very boring at times but doesn't change the fact that it still tells a good story and there has ben numerous times we're they make your heart beat fast with the story and there has been a lot of action, blood, guts, beheadings, eye gouging moments. If you want to watch a zombie show with all action and very little story to be told, I recommend for you Z Nation. Not as good in the story department and acting but it might meet your criteria.

There is an error in the honorable mentions part of this video, the game shown for Avatar the Last Airbender: The Burning Earth, is actually the original ATLA game (there were 3) which isn't all that bad if you look past the repetitive gameplay and shallow rpg elements.

Avatar the last air bender as it was called over here in Australia. I remember buying it, it is actually a pretty good decent game and it did actually have a good storyline and some good gameplay.
Fun fact, Pimp My Ride was made by Eutechnyx, the same company who made Ride To Hell Retribution. So the fact that the game sucked should be no surprise.

You have seen The Walking Dead, right? If anything it was the only thing the game got right in terms of Walking Dead continuity, since the Zombies show very little skill in terms of climbing, and just clamber ontop of eachother.
I'd say Little Britain. All it has is seven mini-games which are irritatingly boring, and although it's aimed at adults, a three-year old could easily figure out how to play them.

Because 24 was actually pretty good with a decent storyline. The stealth was even passable and the AI wasn't all that bad. It even had some replay value to get the best score on a mission based on time, headshots and kills, freed civilians, capturing terrorists instead of killing them and goals achieved.
The zombies in the Walking Dead game are a pretty accurate representation of the ones we're shown in the show.... which is why the show is horrible

Sure, that Tool Time game seemed odd out of context, but looking back, most games in the 1990s were platformers where you battled giant spiders. Wanna sell McDonald's? Put Ronald McDonald on a platform and make him battle some giant spiders. Just released Wayne's World 2? Have Wayne and Garth navigate a series of platforms and battle some spiders. It... made sense at the time... I think?
The 'Thunderbirds' game released on PS2 was absolutely shocking
I remember when I was just a kid, I wanted to rent a game from the local movie rental store and I chose Superman for the N64. I played it for a week. Never got passed the rings of the first level. I returned it after that week and never let my brother play it. Didn't know until years later, that it was one of the most terrible hard to beat games ever. That game caused me to never rent any games in my childhood years!!!
I actually had a ton of fun with Lost Via Domus,although it was extremely flawed I was a massive Lost fan so just exploring the Island was exciting.

I had the south park game on the N64 (not the ps1 admittedly) and honestly I think it was a minor masterpiece, hilarious and clever weapons, long single player campaign with 5 great story arcs that all tie in together, hilarious dialogue, and the multiplayer had the entire cast as unlockable characters, references and easter eggs galore, honestly whats not to like? How did the ps1 mess it up so bad?

You obviously don't watch the show, because that's how they can be avoided in the show as well. If you're going to compare video games based on shows to the shows they're based on, be sure you've watched the shows.
