Beautiful, great sounding SSL console within the reach of the average studio owner, and Chris is a great enthusiast. There are not so many professions where people keep their enthusiasm along the way. And a nice looking polite presenter too

CLA is really selling it! Wish it was all analog, tech becomes outdated so quickly it is not a good idea to spend your money on something that will become obsolete and lose practically all it's value in a short time
Analog lasts decades! His 4K is 36 years old and still working. We have AWS & Duality consoles that are 16-18 years old, still current and going strong.
The must expensive and sought after gear in audio is the oldest.

True and this is happening since 90's when the first digital pro samplers Like Sequential Prophet 3000 have lost over 50% of their value in the year, and over 75% in a two-year period.
It *is* all analog. The only piece that isn't is the optional UF8 DAW controller. Without that, it's definitely all analog.
Schade dass man nicht die Console gefilmt hat, als er sie gezeigt hat, sondern einfach auf die Interviewerin drauf gehalten hat... Chris ist eine Legende! Selbst die Deutschen kennen ihn! xD

For the price from the Origin 16, i get a 4000G 40 channel in good shape.

We get it CLA. It give you such a small footprint. I almost fell off my chair in disbelief when he says how it could be good for the person moving from a mouse / keyboard / laptop setup and a great step from "out of the box only". Sure, if you're in Canada and have 78K burning a hole in your pocket. Wow!
You're kidding, right? He's talking about professional mix engineers who have built a small business and have a steady income stream. Next time you see a young professional in their 20s driving a brand new BMW remember this cost the same as an SSL origin and they probably didn't buy it outright.
