After a while of small pain, your eyes should be comfortable with seeing underwater. 3. Enjoy seeing underwater!

But some people are more prone to feeling what they experience other people feeling. And to varying degrees. Ideally everyone would have some capacity and experience the world like that, because we'd have people treating everyone a lot better, but obviously there are lots of people who don't feel that at all. And most people feel it to some degree. But certain people feel it even to an almost crippling degree. And then there's everywhere in between. It's interesting if you're unfamiliar with it. :)

At first i was so scared to open them underwater, but then i learned a few tips on how to do it. I learned by going in the pool and just barely squinting, and at first it was scary but the more u do it, u will get used to the feeling and then u will be able to open them fully. It is going to be waaaay blurrier than with goggles so u might not see clearly
I did not know we needed a whole Tutorial for this. I just open my eyes underwater and its just as easy to open them underwater when your not underwater.

Well I just jump but if it is hard for you maybe look down and that should help, or exhale through your nose while jumping but if you exhale through your nose you might lose some air while underwater.
Opening your eyes underwater is uncomfortable in the beginning, and I did not wanna try this at first, but then I did it and my eyes stopped burning rather quick. Now I can just jump into any pool with my eyes open and they will not burn at all. Even if I didn’t swim for a while. My eyes still become red after opening them underwater for too long 😅 They don’t hurt tho

Reminder: Do not open your eyes in public pools that include chlorine in them. Chances are your eyes will itch a lot for like 20 minutes and it's extremely annoying. Edit/ Just noticed. He talks about it at 1:19
it’s completely safe as long as the pool does not have too much chlorine in it!! if it does, your eyes will sting when under. but, if there’s no chlorine your should should NOT be stinging, they should just feel a bit uncomfortable. but remember, they should not be stinging. if they are, you’ve either been under with your eyes open too long or there’s too much chlorine.

It feels like my brain short circuits when I try, then my body starts to spasm and my esophagus closes completely. For some people it's just impossible.
But after I opened my eyes in an indoor chlorine pool, they started burning really badly, but when I went to an outdoor pool, it was 100 times better because it didn't burn and it actually felt nice, and for the indoor pool, I tried rinsing it out with water, but it just made the burning worse, it's like whatever liquids that go in my recent would make it burn! Well, I will! I'm sorry it's three years later, but you sounded sincere and even though I'm not the best swimmer, I love the water and love helping other people feel more confident in it. The short answer is, yes, you can. But not always and not necessarily. Much the same as in a pool, it depends on how much debris there is (lots of bodies in a pool contribute more bacteria that you might not see visibly like sand but they'll definitely still irritate your eyes, and lots of bodies splashing and moving around near you in natural waters will kick up the sand and other natural debris that will make it more likely to get in your eyes under water). Some lakes are less ... mucky? For lack of a better word. And seawater is harder on my eyes than fresh water. If it's not windy, and you have some space where the water is mostly still, you can definitely find yourself opening your eyes under natural bodies of water without definitively getting sand and crud in your eyes. And because the water is fluid, lots of times you can easily just keep swimming forward and not getting it stuck in your eyes the way you feel when it happens in the air on land. Actually, most times I find going back under the water with my eyes open the best solution for getting stuff OUT of my eyes haha. Best of luck!
When I was young my dad push me to a pool and my eyes were open so I already experience but I was surprised and scared of swimming but after that I’m not scared anymore

I have a hack that works for me I've find it itchy and difficult to open my eyes underwater but you can just close your eyes, go underwater for a bit, and open your eyes hope this helped
No it will not harm your eyes. It may sting a little at first because your eyes are adjusting to the water. But after some time it will still and maybe it won't sting at all.
Actually it is possible for people to see normal underwater....The reason you dont see normal is because of how much light your eyes take(dont know the word for this sry...but you probably know what I mean). But if your pupil wouldnt take as much light you could see normal...and thats exactly what some boy did(I think he is from South America). What he did was he went underwater and looked at a red light for along time until he could see clearly. DONT TRY THIS BECAUSE I AM NOT SURE IF ITS JUST A NORMAL RED LIGHT!

I never struggled with opening my eyes underwater even in salty water🤔 And with the time my eyes got even mlre used to it since one of my hobbies is mermaiding;)
I have a hack that works for me
I've find it itchy and difficult to open my eyes underwater
but you can just close your eyes, go underwater for a bit, and open your eyes

No it will not harm your eyes. It may sting a little at first because your eyes are adjusting to the water. But after some time it will still and maybe it won't sting at all.

Actually it is possible for people to see normal underwater....The reason you dont see normal is because of how much light your eyes take(dont know the word for this sry...but you probably know what I mean). But if your pupil wouldnt take as much light you could see normal...and thats exactly what some boy did(I think he is from South America). What he did was he went underwater and looked at a red light for along time until he could see clearly. DONT TRY THIS BECAUSE I AM NOT SURE IF ITS JUST A NORMAL RED LIGHT!
