Prime Minister Narendra Modi Inaugurates the 216-foot-tall Statue of Equality on 5th February 2022. This is Statue of the 11th century Vaishnava saint Sri Ramanujacharya at the Chinna Jeeyar Swamy Ashram at Muchintal on the outskirts of Hyderabad City in Telangana state.
The statue of the Vaishnava saint - called the statue of equality - is being unveiled to commemorate his 1,000th birth anniversary and celebrate his efforts to reform Hinduism. The saint was born in 1017 CE.
The Statue of Equality is made of panchaloha - an alloy of five metals namely gold, silver, copper, brass, and zinc - and is among one of the tallest metallic statues in sitting position in the world. It is mounted on a 54-foot-high base building named ‘Bhadra Vedi’, which houses a Vedic digital library and research centre, ancient Indian texts, a theatre, an educational gallery on the works of Ramanujacharya. It was conceptualised by Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy of Sri Ramanujacharya Ashram.

It's not temple money, the Swamiji (monk) collected donations, and built it. I don't think it is from any temple (under govt control), it's from the Matha (Mutt) I believe (not under govt control)
Atlast it's people's money , it's good. But Government should also let the temple to run freely let our donation go in the right place, to the needy and for development and maintenance of our uncountable precious monuments buildings temples and all. Why shall our donation be used to make expressway like jagan Mohan did , why shall our donation go to hajj subsidy and churches grants.

I assume you are a SIkh If yes this Acharya had a major influence in the evolution of Sikhs. Both Ramananda and his disciple Kabir followed the Srivaishanava Sampradaya established by Ramanuja Their teachings have a major influence on the Sikh Gurus and their verses are incorporated in the Guru Granth Sahib.. Ramanandis and Swaminarayans also follow the Vishishtadvaita philosophy established by Sri Ramanujacharya

I was personally not aware of such details but ofcourse i do know Sikhism's roots are based in equality from gender to caste to everything ..and it has incorporated a lot of wisdom from everywhere into the core design.
