DecAthlete / Athlete Kings by Sega AM3 on Sega Saturn - 1996 - Full Playthrough

The Olympics is in full swing now, and with the athletics starting I was feeling like a bit of a button bashing. I've done plenty of Daley Thompson videos, so this time I'm going with a very under-rated game from Sega's AM3, the team responsible for Sega Rally and Crazy Taxi. Known in the US as DecAthlete and Athlete Kings in Europe, this is genuinely one of the best button bashing sports games I've experience.
I played this a lot when I was a uni with my flat mates in the mid/late 1990s.
Here I play through the compelte Decathlon mode.

I do enjoy Hypersports. I play it quite often on the Spectrum. I still know the rhythm to perfect the clay pigeon, but I’m also terrible at the weight lifting.

Used to love this game in my local Arcade. I bought the Saturn version too, but it wasn't the same without a stick

I’ve never played the arcade version. Hyper Sports and Track & Field, yes, but not this.
