Also, I often wonder why we still exist in such an unbearable place to live. Unbearable because of our two great neighbors ... And the only explanation seems to me to be two things. Rooting in religion and knowledge and respect for your own history. Thanks for your words of hope ... As you know, history is back and it has gotten hotter ... and the questions are coming back if we will survive another test.
I hated reading in school as a young man. Because of WW2 I picked up a copy of Poland by James Michener and fell in love with reading and Poland.I was blessed to go there in 2015 and made a true friend there.

Więc nie dziwne, że teraz krzyczymy na ludzi z zachodu, którzy nic nie wiedzą lub znają przeinaczoną historię. Może dlatego bardziej zdystansowani historycy z zagranicy odnoszą większe sukcesy.
Nie sądzę aby świat anglosaski kiedykolwiek poznał i zrozumiał historię Polski i jej współczesność. Wystarczy, że zaczną mówić prawdę o tym małym kraju, który tak naprawdę jest pępkiem świata i wygląda na to, że szybko to się nie zmieni i nie dlatego, że Polacy są zarozumiali ale dlatego, że takie jest jego położenie geopolityczne. Czas zacząć spłacać długi. W końcu Polska nie raz ratowała im dupę. Nie chce mi się więcej o tym pisać bo robię się zła.

When i was living in Oxford i use to meet Norman Davies in st andrew even Primark heheh now i am im krakow and i did see he as well. Just find out he lives here:-) both Oxford and Krakow
I agree with the historian who say that September 1939 was a war for Poles not just a campaign. It makes a big difference. Germans after the war with Poland had only two weeks of surplus. If only France and Britain acted quicker.
I love the expression ‘german resistance’ . Is he serious? I would rather say panicking german upper class looking for way out from disastrous situation. If he digs deeper in this ‘german resistance’ members biographies the real picture will be very obvious.
"Resistance" doesn't imply size. It's naïve to think that in the nation of 60 million there were no decent people. Sure, not many of them but at the same time - not none.
