High Street known as chip pan alley. Back in the 1950s most of the shops down there were chippies & fish & chip cafes & restaurants. Owned by local Skegness families. Sadly not all next generations wanted to go into the family busines & the number of chippies dropped but the High Street still has it nickname. The next road across is Lumley Road where all the shops are. Not just the well known shops but some small family businesses as well. The Jolly Fisherman in the Compass Gardens. There is a large compass on the ground pointing to different places. You happened to stand next to Nottingham. Not sure if the distance is stated or not. You walked past the Tower Gardens on the left & the Embassy across the road & didn't mention them. The sea has always been brown since I was a kid in the 1950s. Only places I've seen blue sea was on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall & of course abroad. Have lived & worked in Skegness & Ingoldmells so it's always interesting to see other points of view. Tfs
Nice one guys, Ive never been to Skeg before, but went to scarbados earlier on in the year, was really good and would definitely recommend. Its got a busier beach and a quieter north beach depending on what you want to do. Plus youve got crazy golf and some really good chippys (and some rubbish ones to be fair) looking forward to the next one cheers :)
Skegness is only been voted the worst seaside for the last 4 years because the people who voted was apparently 3000 and half of them haven't even been to Skegness I have been going with my family for the last 30 years and we won't go anywhere else

Good old Skeg Vegas, only issues I had last time I went was everything was closed early on the night.
We went middle of summer and there was plenty open 🤷🏻♂️

Scarborough is on the list, skeg is worth a visit, for a day 2, but i wouldn't want to stay any longer than that tbh
Scarborough is not disabled friendly ~ it's far too hilly.
Yup good point Lynne, hadnt thought about that and a lot of the b+bs and hotels are up on the hillier bits@@lynnescaddan8919

Each to their own, we used to go years ago, and wasn't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. There's definitely worse out there in my opinion
Love a bit off skeggy.... And great Yarmouth, Scarborough, Blackpool all the so called piss poor seaside Resorts!!... Maybe that says more about me😂
Skeg I can take it or leave it, love Blackpool, and need to visit the other 2, all in good time
Nothing wrong with Skegness, your film is just too full of music 😢
Why that awful music spoils the upload
I just like to do that? Will try videos without music in future
