WOOO hello! I've been seeing this meme absolutely everywhere and I thought it would be fun to make one! It took a while to sync-up, but MAN was it worth it.
Four years of animating later, we've come a long way! I still have a lot left to learn though!
I went onto my old computer to dig up most of the 2018 stuff, DANG it was wild. It felt like opening a time capsule. But like.. a really ugly time capsule. Full of warrior cats and bad anatomy
IMPORTANT: I wasn’t the first person to do this trend, and many people have done it before me! I haven’t been able to track down where the original idea is from, so be sure to look up “animation improvement trend” and check out some other cool animators!

This honestly helped me so much with motivation and worrying about how it’ll be at least a decade before I will be good at drawing/animation. I know it’ll take a lot of effort (which you have obviously put a ton of in) but motivation and determination are the only real hard parts of learning.

0:01 what is the frame rate for this animation?
24 fps but with frames closer and further apart (often one frame apart) so it’s essentially 12 fps despite being set to 24 (if that makes sense lol)

It takes practice.
Sure, that's a pretty vague thing to say, but, really, practice is the best thing you can do.
The best of the best animators had to start off at some point, usually with flip-a-clip, and have grown to a point were they have become a professional animator. It just takes time, and if you give it a while, it will definitely become one of your greatest talents for sure.

Yea I can confirm, I was just afking as usually and I can suddenly understand the basic anatomy, i cant even follow a step to step tutorial before. Guess my mastery on art levelled up, another piece of evidence that we r living in the matrix
