I'm becoming a regular commentor, I can't believe how good these videos are for the amount of subs you have! Quite early so not finished all of the video (I'm one of those 2x speed weirdos) but just want to say in regard to one of your opening comments: I wouldn't worry about commenting these archived videos as opposed to live comms. Sometimes it's hard to commentate in the moment, especially in heated team fights so whatever allows you to put out the best educational videos as possible will help. I do quite a lot of things naturally but every now and then you make me think about things I wouldn't normally think about. Quite frustrating as I'm EU and trying to get into ranked after sinking a lot of time into normals. Not sure if you guys over the pond struggle with this but I'm coming up against gold's at the minute and all they want to do after 10 mins is just team fight constantly, very frustrating. In terms of Grux, as commented before, I'm not a bruiser/ warrior type of guy in offlane but Aurora/ Rik seems to be the best match up against him from tank perspective. Aurora has a similar type of passive and can interrupt his combo as well as escape him quite easily. Although Rik doesn't have the escape you can interrupt his combo with the silence and cc him quite hard. His passive also helps with the bleed impact if you play smart and keep the shield up. The most important part is disengaging him so his omnivamp doesn't kick in. If I'm aurora I normally go magnify first and then tainted guard, Rik is fist of raz into tainted. I'd say bruiser wise you don't have as much CC. If you were wanting to go toe-to-toe early probably someone that can keep slightly ranged like Shinbi. Terra and Crunch could be good around level 6 but it's just about trying to avoid/ interrupt some part of his combo and stopping him from healing. He can drop off hard mid to late game so it's just about stopping him from snowballing early on. As long as you can do that and you can get some form of tainted item he becomes much easier to deal with.
Always happy to see you comment! sound advice. Today I became silver! As I feel the more of these I pump out the more I need to get my rank up. I never touched rank until very recently. And shockingly I've been doing very well and sometimes even MVP in gold lobbies as the only bronze player. The team fights do happen quite fast and early. Ranked is just a whole different atmosphere. I do see your point with Aurora she really does shut him down.
@ That’s one of the things I’m finding as well in terms of getting MVP at bronze. The ranks at the lower level aren’t indicative of how well someone can play the game. Currently I’m winning every 1 in 3/ 1 in 4 games which is frustrating but it is what it is. What I’ve noticed is I could have a team full of gold players and we can lose and sometimes I’ve had a mix of bronze and silver players going against gold players and we’ve won. I’ve had MVP games in both games I’ve lost and won but need to figure out how to convert more L’s into W’s. The trend over the past two weeks though just seems to be people wanting to team fight instead of play the game which has led to me defending two lanes (even as jungle at some points) to stop us getting back doored. I’m in two minds as to whether risk abandoning the lanes and trying to help out in the team fights or whether to defend the lanes and hope the team is smart enough to retreat. I’ve had more games than I should have where one of the lanes has been abandoned and we’ve been team fighting and we’ve lost to minions destroying the core so my immediate thought is to always defend the lanes.
Heeeell yeah more crunch? It must he my birthday Strongly disagree with the ice scorn talons this game, fortunately there wasn't many team fights because the enemy was a tad clueless but if you had been team fighting against fey her ult would shatter you, always recommend brutallax against fey
