Great reaction dude. I would recommend caution in speculating who Vessel is. Many of us respect his desire for anonymity and refrain from looking. There is nothing wrong with finding out who he is for yourself, but you may trigger a lot of people if you say his name or reveal his identity. Just trying to save you from having to edit and re-upload a video due to backlash. Keep up the good work so far!
Agreed, most of us know who they are, but at this point it is an unspoken rule to not speak on it. They are an anonymous band for a reason and everyone should respect their wishes to stay that way.
So Vessel has always been the sole singer on the albums, sole guitar player, sole bass player, sole piano player. Only other band member who creates music for the albums is the drummer II. They have live touring members now, IV and III (guitar and bass), but only Vessel and II write and record music for the albums.
This is a great reaction video, thank you for making it. I'm not going to make any recommendations, because there are plenty of people that have done this already and it sounds like you already have a list in order for upcoming videos without me adding to it! But Sleep Token are brilliant - Vessel is so insanely talented it's almost untrue and I think at this early part of his career fronting Sleep Token it was more or less a solo project (all barring II, their drummer). Insanely talented multi-instrumentalist, like Prince was - I would hope he wouldn't mind my using Prince as a comparison, even though their styles differ so much. ❣WORSHIP❣
Please, please react to Atlantic next. It's the opening track to their 2nd album, and it's one of their most cinematic and emotional tracks, trust. Thanks for all the great reactions.
I think he has, I could be getting Reactors mixed because I watch a lot of sleep token reactions but I recommend looking through his videos. I'm like 80% positive he had done Atlantic.
I didn't do Atlantic yet, but its has been on the list for a min. Next up in the queue is Vore. I will work it into the rotation in the future -- stay tuned!!!
@HIM_066xMusicReactions lol that's why I was like 80% 🤣🤣🤣 it's a collective thing that all of us sleep token fans watch the reaction videos and well I obviously don't remember who all I've seen 🤦🏼♀️😂😂😂
I've been a fan of Sleep Token for quite some time now, and I've seen a lot of reactions analyzing their music technically and from a more philosophical point of view, but I think this might be the first time I've seen someone connect this music video with Plato's "Allegory of the Cave". Which does make sense, in a way. In fact, I think I remember another reactor commenting that this seems to be depicting the moment he became Vessel. Which, similar to the allegory, would symbolize Vessel entering the "cave" that is his service to the entity known as "Sleep".
II was actually there since EP one, they played 1 song from EP one and 3 songs from EP 2 for bbc, they had a female backing vocalist with them during the bbc session
Do yourself a favor, and continue this journey, by going through everything in order. EPs One and Two, then The Night Does Not Belong to God, This Place Will Become Your Tomb, and finally, Eden. The last song will be so much more rewarding if you do.
They were different and unique until the This Place Will Become Your Tomb album. The last album, TMBTE sounds like an ordinary band, I just can't listen to the TMBTE album. But it's still my favorite band.

For sure -- I got you friends, ty for educating me 🤜🏾

Their old producer (George Lever) played the guitar in some songs too. Not sure which.
I wasn't sure who was doing what for their earlier stuff, but this defo clears it up -- ty for educating me friends

They have just always been that good! So shocked I hadn’t discovered them sooner!
💯💯💯
Likewise! I'm relatively early in my Sleep Token journey too! 👋

One of my favourites, especially lyrically!

👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾 this
I am loving being able to watch your Sleep Token journey!! I recommend Rain next!
Vore is next up in the queue but I will work rain into the rotation -- ty for watching friend 🤜🏾
Vessel is a fan of Tool, if that helps clear up any questions about structure and instrumentation, early on. 😊
You know ....I need to react to tool lol ty for reminding me to put them on the list 😭
APC too. He used to do a cover of Breña.
So II didn't come into the band until EP titled 2. All of what you're hearing is vessel.
WOW man is so talented 🤯🤯🤯
II was actually there since EP one, they played 1 song from EP one and 3 songs from EP 2 for bbc, they had a female backing vocalist with them during the bbc session
II is a founding member of Sleep Token, he was a member from the very beginning.
Yep "songs" lately are just jingles. Haha.
😂😂😂 you are so right
