As for how fast she convinces them. Beyond the nature of getting it all done within one song, the only one that seemed off to me with the time was Hephaestus. Ares and Hera are especially easy. Loving your reactions - I am always searching for reactions to this fantastic masterpiece! I love when people are surprised by the next song and the number of reactors I have heard say "I wasn't expecting that" all the way through, just makes me smile! Jorge is a musical genius! And there is very little in this musical that did not happen on purpose - there are layers upon layers upon layers! And every voice actor/artist cast in this musical is perfect for their role. Jorge definitely had a vision/sound, and knew when he had found it with each character! Also, the first Sagas (I think first 4 (?)) were re-released because Jorge had 'issues' with the studio/producer he started working with at the begining (if you want to know more, there is info on the Epic Fan Wiki page). If/when you have time, I would listen back to those first few and see if you notice any differences. I believe there is mostly a difference in a lot of the background/chorus vocals, and a few revisions in instrumentation/mixing etc. One last note - you asked in one of your reactions if Jorge had any other music outside of Epic. i am not sure if anyone answered you, but prior to Epic (in college at Notre Dame), he wrote a musical called "My Heart Says Go", which is, as I understand it, pretty autobiographical. I have not had a chance to listen to it, but everyone raves about it. Apparently it was set to be on 'off-broadway' and then Covid happened.

Please check out their performance of ‘Mary Jane’ at the Montreux Jazz Festival. The whole set is amazing. I was at a 10/10 on Raye before I saw that performance. After seeing it I was at 100/10. That’s when I realized she’s our Ella. She’s our Nina. She is a vocal prodigy. The performance is vocally virtuosic and musically masterful. It also demonstrates her tight connection to her band, especially how a great, tuned in guitarist like Paul can support a singer. We see a lot of her personality too as she speaks to the audience during the song. They are completely in the palm of her hand. It is a masterclass on all levels, one of the best performances I’ve ever seen, certainly in modern times. The video is up on her channel, along with an unbelievable performance of “It’s a Man’s World” and the entire set is also on her channel. I haven’t been able to get any reactors to react to that version of Mary Jane. Maybe you will 🙏🏻
