Also a LOT of other more important stuff (TIGERSTAR/CLAW) was happening at the time so taking that into consideration, Firestar figured it out pretty fast.
To be fair though, it’s kind of hard to justify being a Warriors atheist anymore after Cat Hitler comes back from the dead and all of the living cats team up with an army of Force ghost cats to kill him deader. At that point, it really should just go from “religion” to “okay this is just fact now”. Of course, Cloudtail somehow manages to ignore all this and remain an atheist anyway, because he has Big Scully Energy™ and is also the best character.
I mean, technically he can project himself into anyone’s memories and visit them in their dream, where he can see in both scenarios. Honestly, he should theoretically be able to just “borrow” the eyes of anyone close to him. I don’t remember if they ever explained why he couldn’t do that...
