  • This is what I look for when I am pulling together what I need to “kit up” a pattern.
Things to look for on the pattern information:
    - size of the project
    - recommended fabric
    - types of floss and the colors
    - any extras like beads or treasures
    - how to calculate the size fabric you need

Excellent! Everything was clear, simply explained and sounded very "doable". Terms definition/explanation was spot on. These videos will be very helpful to many. Great job.

Thank you for the video. I’m a beginner stitcher and this was so helpful. I really like how detailed you are. Thanks again

Thanks for the info. Didn’t realize how easy it was to figure out what size the fabric should be. This is Sue. Im you’re neighbor in Riverview.

Nice job. This will be super helpful for beginners. I have been stitching for 30+ years and know how to kit up patterns. But did I watch and enjoy anyways...you betcha!!

This video was fantastic for me because I never knew how to figure out how much fabric I would need for a project. I always bought a Kit. Now I am starting to buy just the charts and then getting the other things later. Now I have the problem of finding the right 18-count aida cloth because none of my stores carry 18-count. I love 123 Stitch too. Thank you for showing us on how to Kit up a pattern. Happy Stitching.

Great video! My favorite shop is 123 Stitch too. One of my favorite things about their site is that if you are looking at just the chart only, sometimes they will list all the floss and supplies needed to stitch the project. They make it so easy.

Well done. I am so glad you commented on a fancy cross stitch is just about materials.... Miribillias had been so put on a pedestal, it took me years before I started one, and then wondered why.......I mean, they probably not are a true beginner project due to size and confetti depending on the one you are doing, but they are not a bunch of fancy stitches either...... I have a goal of getting a mermaid for all the women in my family done, but I may have waited to long.....but I am plugging away at them....Great job Jen......thanks for just being you.

Great video. Also, a lot of stores like 1-2-3 Stitch has a calculator for figuring out the size of your fabric. Happy stitching!

    Nice info video.
While I knew this stuff already because I've been stitching for decades at this point, I like to listen to you while I work on my 2024 HAED SAL plus more views = more recommendeds to other people.

Ty for the video. I’m staring at my new HAED not wanting to stitch the background. I’m going for 28 count. I hope. Lol

Waiting for your next video. Have a question. If the pattern calls for 28 count and I want to use 14, does it come out the same size? Or will it be much larger? Thanks.

If the pattern says 28 count over two threads. It will be the exact same size. If it’s 28 over one thread, it will be twice as large
