You wanted to know what Moszna means in Polish? Well, you asked for it. It means scrotum. That's why Poles find it funny. It might have ment sth diferent 700 years ago and due to normal language development it turned the meaning into this, so now we giggle when we hear the name.

Poland is over 1000 years old. It has existed since 966. It is in the center of Europe. Routes from western Europe to the east and further towards Asia ran through Poland. Poland's position in the center of Europe is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because Poska drew from both the western and the eastern culture. And often from the Far East. That is why Poland created its unique culture thanks to this. And a curse because Poland has always stood on the path of empires in conquest, if not east to west. Poland had to fight against the Mongol, Swedish, Ottoman, Russian, Holy Roman Empire, Teutonic Order, Golden Horde, Prussia, Denmark, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany, USSR.

15:48 nobody can really answer that cause the last time we had kings and queens was like 700 years ago. But talking about the British royal family for an example they are only representants they don't have any power just like presidents in some countries. Except presidents cost much more to have than to have a royal family.

Generally speaking, all European countries have a Christian - usually Roman-Catholic and some form of Protestant - past. That doesn't mean the churches are still full today, though - a considerable amount of young people isn't very devout any more and might be 'Christian in name only' or even openly atheist. Those churches are old and come from a time when religion played a much larger role in everyday life than it does today.

How long has Poland been around? Difficult question. In its current government, since the late 80's. Buuut, as a nation, 966 AD. Over a millennium.

966 is considered to be the start of Poland, it's the date when polish prince was christianised and Poland joined the western european community. As racism - yes it's worse than countries like Sweden or Ireland, but way ahead comapred to US when it comes to safty and racism

No. It's not. This is belief that God does not exist and everything that exists can be measured, weighed, touched, explained, etc. Simple, isn't it?

No sharks in Poland :D and we have more than that one salty lake here :) And yes, unfortunately Poland is the most homophobic country in Europe. Law here does not protect LGBT people. But we're here :) Great reaction, thank you!

Polish law protects all of people, regardless of their sexual orientation, nationality, skin colour, faith, etc. However, it doesn't accept same-sex marriages, even those contracted abroad.
Anyway, it's good to know that homo-, bi-, transsexuals people are not persecuted on a mass scale and attacks on them are incidental.
Besides, Poland is still one of the safest countries in Europe and probably in the world.
