These “talks” are what I thought college was going to be like; it isn’t. More young people would go and graduate, if this is what college was like and professors could invest in us in this way. Great work & much respect!

These talks don’t require any work. Real school and the real world requires work and sacrifice, and is meant to be uncomfortable at times.

It's no coincidence that I picked this Cannon's Class to watch because of the title of "mental health" which I've been dealing with for years. Not only that he mentions my cousin Allen Iverson n I'm a Aesha Iverson. I just lost my grandfather which would be his Uncle 2days ago. I don't believe in coincidences this was a Divine teaching for me from my ancestors through the channel. Thank you Nick and My Elders who were at the table 🙏🙏😓❤️❤️

They touched on so many layers of truth! As an African who chased "life abroad" for my further studies, I can confirm damn near 95% of the things they spoke of simply from my own life journey in Canada the last 6 years. Everything from ancestral knowledge, to ear pods, to university and even those deep and uncomfortable conversations with myself. Black people, all I can say is that class is in session! Big up to this show! Food for the soul

I think it would be great idea to have a dialogue about mental, spiritual, generational setbacks pertaining to women of color! Just having a conversation about what it means to be a Black Women in America! How do we as a Women's, endure, overcome and uplift one another to prevail through our hurdles in America! #Food for thought!

Watching this has me thinking how schooling culture that is active at the institutions and at home is so important. I think that would be a viable step in not learning how our minds as a people work, but also get us intimate with our communities and building environments like the New Africa concept, since the most important person in a young person's life is the teacher. If we can recognise the importance of the teacher, then I think it would be viable to expand the teacher figures beyond the institution, and thus expanding the institution's services into the homes we run from.

As someone who has been an educator and a family consultant/mental health consultant, I can tell you that teachers should be trained to deal with students being diagnosed (Medical Diagnosis/DSM). Teachers are asked to complete legal documentation from a medical practitioner whilst continuing to engage in conversations in varying meetings (Team Meetings, School Based Team Meetings, Planning Meetings, Student Progress Meetings etc) without the necessary training. A lack of Professional Development for teachers with regards to mental health for either themselves or their students contributes to a significant amount of error that cannot be reversed. Have there been studies about the long term effects of that diagnosis with a teacher's participation when they aren't adequately trained? What is the tracking of those students through adulthood? If a teacher seeks training for a required job responsibility which the county does not offer/provide, what will the outcome be? Should a teacher have to obtain a masters degree in counseling due to a lack of training to adhere to her job responsibilities as an educator? There are systemic issues that need to be addressed

It was said that we get boujee but let us not forget those of us who are just burned out on those who are proud to be ignorant and ratchet; those who we have tried to feed and rejected truth and knowledge to help them. Sorry but if I never had to deal with certain people again I would not. Profound conversations are a Blessing!!!

Ay nick cannon. My name is frank. Im a white male. I want to stand for something and to me, the thing thats the most charged subject, is, UNITY, I WANT TO BE USED TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER. Not just my own family thats been seperated since weve been able to think for ourselves but for the ones that inferiorize or condescend. This purpose for this comment is for YOU TO CONVEY, through me and my "privilege" and educate the masses for a purpose that will serve past my own existence. Praying for acknowledgment
