I find we are very like minded and therefore I am certain you will be floored when you react to Gasoline Dream off Overkill's album W.F.O.(Wide F'n Open). The entire album crushes and you should definitely give it a listen. The band has been on the road for 30 years (COVID has ruined an insane touring habit). They appreciate the hardcore fan base like no other. More thrash masters should know these guys. Anthrax is not a better band than Overkill. I am ok with Anthrax but if not for their covers and NY base they are near the bottom of the top 10. Overkill and Testament are better. There are arguments for Kreator, Sacred Reich, Morbid Angel, Annialator, Death Angel, Merciful Date, Machine Head, Sepultura, D.R.I., S.O.D., M.O.D.(the acronyms) not as known but for pure thrashy music....tough call when you make an honest appraisal. Cue up Nightcrawler and drop the knob and we will have to throw Judas Priest into the pit. That shakes up the mix. Everyone is going to have different opinion, none of them wrong, but I'm betting the top 4 everyone talks about came straight out of The 🍎 Apple😎 ☠️Thrash til we die brothers☠️ Gasoline Dream T!!

ManOwar is one of the biggest bands you haven't covered much yet. They're the most stereotypical, unrepentantly cheesy Metal band ever.. they literally are the American Spinal Tap.. but that's why we love them. Gods of War is one of the greatest metal albums of the last 20 years.
