I've been watching these sao videos of yours, I like how you're showing us the stuff that happened in the novels and what they changed. I haven't read the novels myself yet, know any place to read them online or any stores that carry them? otherwise I'll just stick with the anime. besides I'm liking the anime version so far anyway. also in regards to your digimon tri videos, I didn't like how the films ended myself either, I agree on everything you said in the reviews, has me wary of the supposed tri continuation, since I don't know who's writing it and who was responsible for that bad writing in tri.

I am happy that Asuna is put front and center for this episode, it show that she is as smart as Kazuto if not smarter to be able to put the info together from bits and pieces. It was more luck due to the heart monitor but it also shows the leanth that she is willing to go to find Kazuto the person she loves with a bit of pushing from the others and Yui. I do hope she gets more attention and screen time the way she did in episode 5.
Asuna should be the focus of the next episode or part of it too

Great and emotional episode! I love seeing everyone again and how they are helping to find Kirito. Yui's speech to Asuna was great. I also love how Asuna was wearing her promise/engagement ring Kirito gave to her. It's great that they are incorporating every arc and movie storylines, themes, and concepts into this season. Asuna being angry at Kikuoka was great.
This episode actually felt like a movie to me and i freaking love it. Great Job A-1 Picture.

I stinking love Asuna. I really hope they show the ambulance scene. I would love to watch that. I was super surprised to hear her say "Nice to meet you" in English, and I had to go back to see if there was an accent. There was, but barely. The funny thing is, I started liking that character in the same way that I like Asuna's character, before I figured out that she was Asuna.
I'm really glad to see Asuna getting her bite back, after getting it stripped in the ALO arc.

Foxen Anime I think personally SAO haters are a big reason why people don’t attend so much time into SAO. Liking SAO in the anime community is a sure way of getting bullied by people. And because of that most people don’t wanna like or watch SAO just so they can fit in.

Glad to see the strong-willed Asuna from Aincrad return even more than in Mother's Rosario. Alicization is doing a great job of repairing the series issues. Keep winning me over, anime.
I used to really look down on SAO... I watched the first episode back in 2013 and lost interest. But recently I saw it on Netflix and gave it another shot; best decision ever. Binge-watched SAO and SAO II within 4 weekdays (I'm also in uni). I don't think I've ever been so immersed and excited for an anime before but now I can't stop looking for SAO anime and manga. Kirito and Asuna's romance is the brightest glowing gem in the anime world IMO, it's just so pure and beautiful. Watched all five Alicization episodes up to now and it's pretty good, but obviously more scenes with Kirisuna would be nice. Definitely stumped they cut out the ambulance scene, but I do believe they have some treats in store. Super excited! Thank you for this treasure of a story Reki, please amp it up with the anime and don't ever stop it coming!

@@sheeeeeesh1541 Yeah I've already watched and rewatched Ordinal Scale, it's a really great movie. The Extra Edition that comes after the first season is also a great way to recap and explain some things from season 1 + new material. If only there were more to watch!!

Disappointed by the lack of the ambulance scene, and I agree it does seem like they are trying to downplay the severity. One thing I will note about "fear of Asuna being replaced", is that the sheer length of the Arc and the time it took to come out, meant that for a long period of time, many had the impression that there was some complete break from the past and that all those characters were being cast aside.
I am very glad we finally got this episode. Also the thumbnail image of Asuna with red eyes and pail skin reminded me of Seras Victoria from Hellsing ultimate during one of her blood rages. It really gives the impression of Asuna going for Keiko's jugular the first chance she gets.

It was a slow episode but one I was looking forward to. A lot of the drama and danger from this season stem from whats going on in the real world and the emotions of the people who don't know whats happening with Kirito (namely Asuna's emotions). Interested to see how this continues forward and hope people don't give up early because this arc requires a lot of set up.

It does sux but now I'll have time to work on on stuff. Multiple things IRL combined with constant video work has pushed me really far behind. I dont have any time to work on other related SAO and other anime videos I've been wanting to do. Notes for this took up to 4hours + more when factoring video production time.

@@FoxenAnime Gonna be honest I did expect this though as I have noticed how much content you have been making, and I knew it would be tough to maintain. The quantity of your content has in no way diminished in quality so realistically it either had to happen this way, be really delayed, have quality cut, or have all other content ignored for the rest of the season. To be fair, RATH might be the only organisation with tool (STL) to prevent and eventually heal Kirito's brain damage. As far as we know, it's based on medicuboid and getting an informations from / injecting to those brain cells, that can actually help to repair some damaged structures in Kirito's brain or they just want to get informations about Kirito's meetings with Kayaba while stuck in SAO. Although i believe that plot armor has to be somewhere out there lol. Great video as always Foxen, keep up the good work!

Ugh once again they cut out important kirito / Asuna scenes in the novel, ugh I hope they flash back to it later.
All the sao movie tie ins was awesome and that moment with yui and Asuna was probably my favorite part of the episode. I also love how they added more of the characters into the story and the over all changes were fine with me and the cuts were hit and miss for me but I hope some return later.
As for the question -I am very happy it was Asuna focused, I know my sao anime friends were getting annoyed with not knowing what’s going on with her or on the outside so it was nice to see what Asuna is doing on the outside to help.
This new format works imo, while I loved your detailed break downs I get it’s not worth the time if the views are not coming in, going by this video I feel u still cover more then enough of the changes between the two to give us a good idea.
I do think u are right about people not knowing about SAO S3 , I had to tell my friends and my wife several times, but it also doesn’t help that several large anime’s also launched this month and I just think things are crowded right now.
But I am glad u are doing these videos, love your work and once again well done on your break down / review video.
