    What a fabulous interview! My daddy was a WWII vet drafted out of WV. He would have been 101 this year. Daddy was in Louisiana as the POW camp and I have an accommodation letter from the President because daddy stopped a POW from escaping the prison. He was then shipped to Germany. He really didn’t talk much about that part of his service. Thank you for sharing this man’s story, it brought back some wonderful memories of my dad.
