    Thank you so much man this video just helped me out a lot. I've been messing with my suspension in the front and rear the last few days trying to figure it all out. Just set mine up exactly how you have yours in this video and it's way better than how I had it. I haven't flipped my rear shock around yet but now that I'm getting way more travel in it I may have to, we shall see.

    Great information! Good stuff here. I was thinking and messed around with my generic shock I have laying here and I was able to move the spacers in the eyelets around. Then you could maybe run your shock upside down and reach the adjustments. It looks like it would clear that way from your video but I dont have the bike and maybe it wont? Just a thought. Thanks for the video! Very helpful!

    • @shootthechit
      @shootthechit  Месяц назад +1

      I was thinking about that, but don't know if the shock is designed to work upside down. Might not get the oil distributed correctly that way

      @@shootthechit LOL ive been googling around. Way to long. lol. Anyways I have mounted shocks upside down on I cant remember if it was a sandrail I built or a custom gokart I built but did with no issues. They where not air. I cant find a for sure thing on that shock but looks like most people say yea with some saying no. Some say try it wont hurt. Some say it will take life out of shock. lol. IDK Maybe you can get ahold of ecell guy who can contact shock guy and get answer. Or just do it. lol But once its adjusted you really dont have to mess around with it so maybe leave it.

      @@rabbithomesteading3797 Yea thats kinda where I'm at with it now. The only issue with mounting it backwards is adding additional air, so once I get the pressure where I want it, I don't really need to worry anymore, you can reach the knobs, its just a little more difficult.

    And actually watching your video again I just noticed that your rear shock is much closer to your battery than mine. Mine is a good inch away from the battery but yours looks like it's almost touching the battery. Same exact setup as you have. The only thing I can think of is maybe yours has had more use so the shock has moved more forward towards the battery maybe? I'm not sure but it doesn't look like I'll need to flip mine around like you had to

    • @shootthechit

      The compression knob hits the battery case when it reaches around 80% of its travel if it faces forward. This is going to be addressed in future Five Star releases. I turned the shock around so it would no longer make contact

  • @firebreather050
